Another ok day at new job - still very novel coming home at 3pm.

I sent some flowers to a friend yesterday via M&S on line. I thought it a bit odd when I hadn't heard anything from her by 5 pm - so e-mailed her to ask her if anything had been delivered - nothing had. So I phoned number on order confirmation - everything is present and correct on form I filled in but there is no record of it being delivered :(

He immediately offered 50% off and suggested delivery on Saturday as we'd missed tomorrows deadline - I said there would be nobody in - so will try again for Monday - the surprise element has however been lost as I have had to tell her to let me know if nothing arrives or if it is damaged in any way - she doesn't know they are flowers though so still a bit of a surprise I suppose - I'm glad it wasn't a birthday pressie as you wouldn't want them 3 days late. I am quite pleased to have 50% off though. WHY is nothing simple!!!!!!!

    TADA list for today

    - went to Tai Chi

that's about the lot I'm afraid

Payday is Wednesday - I will know how the pennies will pan out then. I feel a lot happier now I have paid off the loan and got everything else on a 0%.

I went out for a drink with a couple of friends on Friday - one lady still works at my old place and she looked absolutely shattered - she listed the things they had done and told me some of the things going on. I KNOW I have made the right move now. Just got to make the cash work for me. If necessary I know where some cutbacks could be made - I know I have been slacking on some mse basics recently.

    - The plan is to transfer the cash I've spent over the last couple of week ends to 0% card - everything I owe will now be on that. NOTHING after this last transfer will go onto it.
    - Take a minimal amount of cash out for small purchases to last the month.
    - Everything else - shopping, petrol etc will go on the Reward CC - I'll note everything I spend and get that amount of CASH out at the end of each month and pay it off. The idea is I'll see the cash in total and it might make me think before I buy anything.

In the past I have tried using cash to pay for all things and not touch any cards but as cash ran out I went to the hole in the wall and got more out - I'm hoping seeing the TOTAL cash 'in my hand' each month to pay reward card will shock me into realising how much I've spent.

Any extra after I've paid the reward card can go towards my 0% overpayments (dd will be set up for more than minimum amout after I've seen my wages on Wednesday) I've got a notebook at the ready to do the sums.

I'm ready for the challenge to get rid of the 0% ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
