Where did 2 weeks go to - had a lovely leisurely time in Cornwall. Ate loads, ralaxed and generally took it easy - a great time was had by us both and never a cross word spoken LOL. But now we're back to reality - back to work, kitchen is full of ironing to be done, and I got on the scales after mucho eating of pasties and cream teas - scales nearly screeched in horror as did I LOL LOL LOL.
This evening I took the bull by the horns and re-joined weightwatchers on line. I'll give it a try for the 3 months I paid up front for and hopefully lose the 25lbs I need to loose - doesn't sound much but I'm only 5ft tall and very small frame - I am feeling very sluggish and uncomfortable - so theory is the cash I've paid up front will keep me focussed. Has anyone used the weightwatchers food scales that convert the food to point value are they any good or a gimmic?
Not much else to report a the moment, just want to be back in Cornwall really.....ho hum....such is life LOL

Glad you had a good time....am looking forward to a break after treatment if I can.
Well done joining WWs...I haven't used the scales as they seem very expensive..I use a set of normal digital scales to weigh my stuff but the wws ones do add all the stuff together for a recipe but it's no hardship to do it yourself...but its whatever will work for you0 -
Not doing too well with the debt busting at the moment - dh came to Morrisons with me and I only wanted a bunch of flowers for my neighbour for house sitting and a few bits like milk and bread..... £35 later including crisps and a magazine for the man himself (£4 for a magazine - I'm going soft in the head)
Had to go and have my crown re-fitted on my tooth as it came off on holiday - luckily that is still under guarantee. But it is annoying having to take time out of work - luckily it was ok this week and I had no agro asking for the time off bossese are all on a high as the OFSTED report came back OUTSTANDING in every area - now all we need is an outstanding pay rise to match LOL LOL LOL - not a chance of that I'm afraid.
I spent the day re-potting and reorganising my plant pots. Unfortunately all my tomatoes I'd grown from seed died before we went away - I thought I'd lost my courgettes too - but a neighbour had nurtured some of them back to health for me - so I'm happy to still have 4 courgette plants. I bought 3 new tomato plants and a pepper plant on holiday all for a pound at a car boot - so at least I might get some fresh tomatoes still this year. I should have been doing ironing but hey that'll wait till another week.
Got a few busy weeks ahead - I have some assignments to do and a lot of work before the end of term. No rest for the wicked I suppose.

Excellent ofsted! As you say, an outstanding pay rise to accompany it would be nice! Shame it is not that simple!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Had a lovely day today and very MSE too - ds took us both out for fathers day. I was good and had chicken salad and shared some of ds carrot cake. I have done ok with ww on the whole I think so far this week - but shared a Chinese at friends along with a couple of glasses of wine for her birthday on Friday. I'll weigh myslef tomorrow. I bought the ww food scales and they arrived promptly yesterday morning - it has been a bit of an eye opener weighing the portions - a 3 point portion of pasta is actually MORE than I usually allow myself. Shows it must be !!!!py snacks that I eat - not the actual mealtimes!!!!
Did a fair bit of walking but only a a slow pace - dh fell over on holiday and is still having a bit of ankle trouble - insists he doesn't need a doctor to look at it - MEN!!
I have a kitchen full of ironing and house is looking a !!!!!! tip at the mo - I should have really stayed in but ironing will wait - day out with family more important than that LOL LOL LOL
Off to bed now as my nose has run all day - not sure if it's hayfever or a cold - have taken both anti-histamine and cold remedy neither have worked too well. Honey and lemon soothed my throat which is itching like mad for a short time.
Night all

glad you had a good family day out and your right ..that's more important than ironing.
hope you feel better tomorrow x0 -
I've stayed off work today - I'm aching all over especially my joints, got a pounding head, sore throat and a running nose - so I'm pretty sure it's some kind of virus not hayfever.
I'm quite pleased I lost 4lb last week - I'm doing my weigh in day on a Monday to try and keep me on track over the week-ends - so far so good. Only another 21 to go LOL LOL LOL
The plan for today is to catch up on Corrie and take it easy. Have closed the kitchen door and run away from ironing - not sure I could even lift the iron today my arms feel like lead.
