Yep, mine, too! It's the season for lots of things made with home-grown tomatoes, I feel (if the flippin' things ever ripen, anyway!)

Here's us. No sooner have the summer visitors left, the locals start socialising again - playing havoc with my meal planning. Currently it looks like this:

Today - beetroot soup with coriander & cumin, pasta with courgette sauce
Saturday - dinner party for 7: provencal fish soup; boeuf en daube with mashed potatoes; DH's favourite pudding = trifle (with lots of HG raspberries)
Sunday - out for dinner at neighbours
Monday - courgette with cheese, ham & egg filling
    Tuesday - vegetable gratin
Wednesday - out for dinner I think (DH's birthday)
    Thursday - salade nicoise
Friday - ham & cheese plait
    Saturday - kedgeree
Sunday - American style cottage pie

    Enjoy the week!

I really want to get back into meal planning now the kids are back at school and I have 2 on packed lunches so I'd love to join you all if that is ok.

Today we had Chicken and vegetables in cheese sauce with breadcrumbs onto plus apple crumble (I had a small plum one from the windfalls).

Tomorrow - tomato soup for lunch and pizza for dinner, banana and sultana loaf

Sunday - roast (probably beef, I'll shop tomorrow) chocolate cake

I can't think further than that but will edit my list tomorrow
