I prefer to freeze most of my roast chicken leftovers for later in the week so we don't get too many days in a row of chicken
Breakfasts are porridge, cereal, toast and fried egg on farls (depending on who it is and what mood they're in).
Lunches will be soup in various forms and wraps, rolls and whatever is dug out of the freezer :rotfl:working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Hi Princess lou,
The meal plan thread, where many Old Stylers list the meals they are making for the week is started every Thursday by Penny Pincher so I've added your post to this weeks thread so you can see what everyone is having.
Last weeks thread is hereand you'll find some Sunday lunch ideas here

Ok, here goes...
For breakfasts we always have cereal, I buy (supermarket own brand) Weetabix, Fruit and Fibre, Mini Shredded Wheat and Shreddies. We have Fruit Juice with it.
The boys go to the (free) school breakfast club on the days when I work and eat another breakfast
My daughter takes a snack to nursery school with her for mid morning, usually either a banana, some raisins or some yoghurt (raisins are taken from a big bag and put into a pack as much cheaper than those little individual boxes, same with yoghurt which is now made with my Easi-yo).
The boys have a Fruit Bar in school at breaktime, which costs £1 a week each. I used to send them with fruit from home but TBH at 20p a day it is just as cheap and less hassle!
The boys have school dinners.
OH takes a packed lunch, next week he will alternate between HM corned beef pasties and tomato or sweetcorn HM soup, which are all made and portioned up ready in the freezer. He has one or two pieces of fruit and a HM cake as well.
My daughter and I have lunch at home, things like soup, boiled egg, cheese toastie etc. We might have some HM cake or yoghurt for pudding, and usually some fruit.
When the boys come home from school I make some toast and HM jam as a snack.
Then when OH gets home we have our evening meal.
Next week's evening meal plan:
Sunday: Roast Chicken, new potatoes, carrots, peas, gravy.
Monday: Chicken and mushroom pie, new potatoes, carrots and peas.
Tuesday: Tuna Pasta Bake and salad
Wednesday: Sweet and Sour Chicken with rice
Thursday: Spaghetti Bolognese and salad
Friday: Spicy Sausage and Bean Casserole with Baked Potatoes
Saturday: Takeaway Night.0 -
