Buying a New Wedding Dress from Ebay? (Merged)

The only thing that would bother me would be buying a dress that I hadn't tried on, I presume you can't send it back if you don't like it. I don't know about you but I've often seen a dress in a magazine or in a catologue or even in a shop and it looks completely different on me. For such an important day I wouldn't take the chance. I've seen some lovely wedding dresses in charity shops, there are some that specialise in bridal wear.0

My friend did this, personally I thought the dress was hideous but that was just personal taste, it was exactly as described & fitted very well despite my friend being a big girl & rather bulging (to put it polietly) in some parts. The photos on ebay werent' fantasitc but it was very much as teh written description said. I think if I was going down this route then I'd email teh seller & ask for extra photos & close ups of the fabric as I thought hte fabric was very cheap looking 9a synthetic satin & not liek anything I have seen here so hard to comapre)
That said, they are very very cheap & as long as you allow yourself pleanty of time to find another iin case it isn't what you want then I would go for it, you can always re-sell it (maybe at a bit of a loss & worth the chance compared with UK prices) and you may just get the dress of your dreams at the price of your dreams;)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
