Idle young should be entitled to nothing

Other countries do this, I dont see why we shouldnt either. If crusties want to have cutting edge treatment, I suggest they sell up to pay for it and not expect my generation to pay for it. I wont be expecting treatment past 80, I dont see why they should either. Majority of our hideous 100 billion NHS bill is caused by dying crusties, sod them.
Cheers mate!
A lot of crusties would welcome a little black pill (a blue one might be welcome too) from the age of 75 to keep under you pillow for when you needed it. This Government won't allow it - they're gonna keep terminally-decrepit fogies alive and suffering even if it kills 'em !!0 -
So we are back to my idea - pay a 'minimum to survive on' (note nothing to do with some definition of poverty) to everyone (adults and children alike), employed or not and then rather than using tax credits also give everyone a personal allowance that can be transferred between family members - immediately the so called 'fe ckless' are not getting any more than basic rations rather than a 'lifestyle' and they have every incentive to work (and not in the black economy) as they get to keep 100% of what they earn at the start.I think....0

Maybe sort out the top heavy management, the under managers and their side kicks and the like first. When are the government going to come out with the real money saver? THe one that states that people past the age of 80 arent entitled to treatment on the NHS for illness with a fatal result? Hip replacements, fair enough, but why bother with expensive cancer drugs for someone who will be dead within 10 years anyway?

If they were a real business with all the top heavy managers they would have gone bust long ago, look at the figures
pushing double to fund in no time !!!!!!. I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0 -

OMG how arrogant.
Those people have paid in all their lives and may still be paying tax even now.
How about we refuse to pay for more than two children per family under the NHS and also refuse to treat sports injuries or any injury caused while under the influence.Things like that.
Has no one any respect these days.0 -

If they paid ENOUGH all their lives, you want to explain away our current state debt and the massive 1 trillion+ OAP pensions deficit?
I hate hearing crap about how OAPs paid all their lives. Yes, they paid, the amount they paid doesn't tie into what they are promised nowadays. I stick by my argument. Modern hyper-expensive cancer drugs are pointless for the over 80s. I think NICE agrees with me too.0 -

There are a few like that  me,me,me,me.me oh and my family.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
i would just like to run out my previously stated idea that in order to earn their benefits the spongers should (i) build giant hamster wheels connected to generators and (ii) run in said wheels once complete. this would solve our impending energy crisis, obesity crisis and environmental crisis. three crises sorted in one go.0

ive gone past caring, even people who work will try and get something for nothing somewhere along the line, i know plenty of self employed who shaft HMRC by cooking the books and creative accounting
yeah i do work and pay taxes, im sick of paying for extra police and nhs staff thursday to sat because hundreds of thousands of workers go out and get pi$$$ed and need these 'services' after a 'good night out'
were all gonna be dead one day, so just get on with life, who ever is in power we'll get a !!!!! deal somewhere

I don't know how old you are but you sound about 12 with your childish, churlish attitude.
People have a right to get old or do you intend to top yourself when you get to 45 and start needing the doctor more.
I take it you and yours are perfect, never going to age and have more right to being around than someone who may have contributed to society for many years (I'm not just talking about financially).
There's an old saying "where there's life, there's hope".
Everyone has the right to life.
The older you get you realise just how precious life is.
When your mother has a bad day let us know,so we can send the hit squad round and get rid of another old sponger.0 -

Not just police wxmlad. Our hospitals have to employ security guards to work nights at A&E departments as well - that could have been more nurses, rather than the need for protection for them.0
