  • Hi we are in the process with others, We have contacted Damian Peters (damianp) at the 'company international ' We have requested a refund of the full amount (someone who i'm communing with has gotten a refund) Trading standards advise we have a case (all of us) so to file a small claims form from your small claims court (england or Scotland) You can google small claims court and the country you live in and it will bring up all of the information and forms to print. It's quite easy.If your on benefits it's free to claim and up to 10 people can claim on 1 form It costs £108 but split between 10 people is only £10 which is retrievable back from the claim . Hope this helps

Some people have commented on my video which makes an interesting read. The followings from a South African who used to work for the company.

    Quoted from Youtube:

i used to work for them-they are based in cape town + this is how they work: they post an advert on various websites-reed, monster etc. They do have a recruitment agency department so they have access to these websites to post legit possitions-BUT the department u dealing with has nothing 2 do with recruitment+ the jobs they post are bogus!

they post their adds hoping peole like u will apply without having CEMAP, this is why u will notice they never/or hardly request the qualification as a necessity to apply for the position. u apply-they scan ur CV see that you dont have CEMAP then call u- say u perfect but 1 set back-U DONT HAVE CEMAP! but wait,u in luck-we have a department who teaches CEMAP-pay to go on the course + then you will be qualified 4 the job! they are NOT recruiters+there was never any job as advertised!

oh and you should know this as well- The course is written by a South African girl who has NEVER worked as a mortgage adviser or in the financial sector or in UK !

oh and you should know that NO-ONE who works at Darnell is based in the UK! its cheaper to employ and exploit South africans! the 27 hammersmith grove is a postal service whereby a company based there opens darnells post and scans it to them- they pay them for this service! they have nothing to do with Darnell!

Could someone whose been a member for a while put a link up to my youtube video as a post please?

    I can't as I'm a new user. Thanks

    Hi

The position I have available for you is the Trainee Financial Adviser position.
This position entails you, the trainee, shadowing a fully qualified financial advisor for a period of 6 - 8 months, to gain the practical experience you would require to further your career in the financial advice industry by attaining your Competent Advisory Status (CAS). During this period of time you would be earning anything between 18k to 25k, which would increase your OTE to 25k and once you receive your CAS your earning potential will increase to between 25-30k pa making your OTE 35k-45k.
During your role as a trainee financial advisor you will be advising your clients in the full capacity as a fully qualified advisor, but only to a lesser degree in that you will have a fully qualified advisor to refer back to should you require any assistance. You will be dealing with all sectors of financial advice, namely: investments, pensions, retirements, stock markets, taxes, legal matters etc.
The career growth that arises from this position is great, because once you receive your CAS, you would be able to demand a higher basic salary, as well as specify in a specific sector you find to be most suitable eg. Investments, pensions, savings, stock markets, taxes etc. you would even be able to advise on mortgages once attaining your CAS as you would be confirmed competent to do so.
To get to that point, and to be considered for this position, you would require the specific qualification, which is your CeFA. The Certificate in Financial Advice.
I have attached the brochures from our training department for your persual including this link to give you a visual overview of what Darnell Training has to offer (link removed). If you require additional information feel free to notify me, as I would make the necessary enquiries.

  • I thought i would put some input into this forum. I am not an employee of Darnell before people jump to that conclusion!!

I am typing on here to let you guys know that yes i did get messed around in the begining by Darnell. However since then i have been sent to an interview with a company that is actually really well placed in the market and has excellent future opportunities, so i would suggest hang in there. Darnell do deal with a high volume of candiates and sometimes takes a bit of time. Initally i was told i would be recruited for a high street bank but that never happened i got put forward for this trainee role and was really pleased i did because the company seems really good and fingers crossed i get a second interview!!!

So its not all bad. Have a think as maybe people who dont get put forward just dont have a strong enough CV to be put forward to reputable companies.

Surely they shouldn't be taking our money if our cv is not strong enough, I was told that they had shown my cv to the company and that the company wanted me but only if i done the cefa
