At present I am writing to many of the Companies to acknowledge and request further information!
I assume from your last post that means you are staying with her/going to pay her debts off without informing the authorities?
I get the feeling that you are an honest, honourable, family man and your partner has/is taking serious advantage of your good nature. Re-reading some of the posts, the one from TheBex stuck in my mind;
If you do fix it for her this time, would you ever be able to trust or respect her? Would you be able to do it again next time? Would you have to keep secret the fact that she has done this to you? How long would it take to pay it all off? Will you resent her?
I wish you all the luck with whatever decision you make, your path is not an easy one.0 -
Such a mess for to have to try and clear up. But why dont you stand up for yourself (she sounds rather spoilt!!!) You have two children to think about here, its obvious she didnt think of them. First thing is I would insist she get a job and use her salary to pay these debts off at a salary of £15000 a year it wouldnt take too long before they were gone. You do really have to make a stand here, things arent going to get better with you sorting her problems out are they? Even suggest you have a separation to enable both of you (or should I say you) to get your head around this. Your partner isnt going to change overnight and if she needs the money for "whatever" she get it by hook or by crook and of course leave you with the consequences. As long as someone else is mopping up after her she isnt going to stop the spilling is she? Of course you love her, but being soft with someone who has done this even to your children is downright STUPID. Get a grip.Look after the pennys and the pounds will look after themselves:money:0

Just wanted to check in and see if you are ok? Have you managed to make any decisions yet on action to be taken and or what you are going to do?
