10 NSD's! Well done. I've only managed two this month but might manage one tomorrow. Keep nearly getting there then needing a tub of yoghurt or something. How annoying. X

    Hello again,

this is rather shocking; it's friday & so far not a single drop of alcohol has passed my lips

I've been far too busy making up for all those NSDs with a Very Spend Day .

DD was due at local church for christmas assembly practice at 8.30 this morning. So, there I was skidding all over the road in the car only to arrive & be told that school had cancelled the service at the church & decided to have it at the school instead. The school is at the end of our road so the death journey was for nothing . NB - not even an inch of snow on the ground here so have no idea why but I topped up my karma by taking 3 of her friends back in the car with me.

Then it was time for the spend frenzy to begin ... £36.12 on fuel - not getting caught with empty tank if weather does turn bad ;). Popped into primarni for tea towels ( thanks for that tip H :D) & ended up getting a few bits like gloves & socks for DDs & also found a very snuggly tunic jumper for £10.77 so think I may have just gone over my clothes challenge limit for the year :o. Total spend in there was £33.86. On to toyshop for club penguin cuddlies that were DDs last minute request ... £15.98. Next stop Hawkins Bazaar for stocking fillers ... £14.20. Then into the Body Shop for more lippie & mascara & to get online shopping added to card for stamps, thereby receiving my £5 off gift so total cost of goodies was £12.78 :D. Treated myself to a new purse as I still cant find a black bag :( ... £12.99.

Thought I might as well do Waitrose on the way back so whizzed round there & spent £38.45 - got free chocs thanks to vouchers sent to me :T & of the total only £33.45 was on food as £5 was a gift box of yummy soaps. Tins of Quality Street were on a bogof so I grabbed two of those quick & there were chickens with a use by date of 27th so that's christmas diner sorted :rotfl:.

I've also received the school milk bill for next terms so thought I might as well pay that today too ... £12.54 .

Hmmm, that's a total of about £190 :o Anyway, the pressie shopping is now all done & in spite of Faith having a big sale I didnt, repeat didnt buy anything. Mainly because the pair of boots that I want are not in the sale & still £120 . Not sure how much longer I can last without them though ... they whisper to me when I'm asleep.

The tree is now in postition, lit & decorated :D there are festive looking & smelling candles scattered about & it looks very sparkly here which almost compensates for the fact that its a tip (again) so I plan to spend the weekend cleaning , tidying & decluttering ( again).

    Off to wander now ...

Oh I so know how you feel. I love Faith - have you looked online as some are in the sale on there and I think maybe more than in the shop? Failing that do you have a nearby debenhams with a faith department? Last 2 years I have picked up lovely faith bargains in the post christmas sale (though this year I won't be putting it on my debenhams card -promise!)

PS -do tell, which ones are you lusting after?

    Hello Tixy,

was just thinking how annoying that Faith arent on Quidco as any spending via them is of course justified ;). Just whizzed ocer to Debenhams - which is on quidco & gutted to discoer that said boots are'nt there :(. Anyway, I'm after a pair called mousey or something similar in dark brown. Not sure about the studs, but loving the colour & it's the closest to the dark colour I'm seeking. Never mind, I shall carry on with my search ...

Wol - will be pm ing you shortly ...
