Not another Tory hero like talking head Hannon, (he showed his true colours on US TV).

So tell us, StevieJ, are the actual things he is doing wrong or is it his general political philosophy that you object to?

How do you feel about reducing his own salary, suggesting that council taxpayers don't want to fund jaunts to meaningless twin cities, or contribute towards a Gay Pride event?

Let us wait and see what other benefits he accrues from his prima facie populist stance, call me a cynic if you like icon7.gif
BTW DD how come you are still around if they have special anti-sockie softwareicon7.gif

Don't worry, every newbie gets this sort of treatment. They assume that this is a closed shop or club that does not allow new members, and so any newbies have to be existing members using new usernames.
lol, you lot are slipping. I mentioned DD and had to wait at least 30 mins for the sockpupet furor!! :)

    D+, must do better. :rotfl:
Have a look at your posting history JB, you're the one whose been obsessed with me over the past few days, making snidy remarks and accusations. You can't moan now that I've finally bitten back.

Why not just leave me and other people alone? Is your life so sad and dull that the only fun you can get is pulling up people's typos, going through people's previous posts to try and find inconsistences that noone else cares about and making baseless accusations?

    Get a life mate.
    Touche' :)

Please just leave me alone now. Thnxs.

You've decided not to leave it then "Harry".
That's fine, just so long as I know where I stand.

Never really did get over the fact I got the better of you it seems?

How interesting that I mention StevieJ and JB in the same 'breath' and here they come a running.

I don't recall you "getting the better of me JB(SJ)", do you get into arguments on here deliberately then to boost your ego? I just recall that I get tired of these silly squabbles and prefer to talk about the economy. Something that you seem incapable of. Just why do you subscribe to the MSE forum?

Good tactic though Steviej/JB to divert attention from bendix' question. ;)

Populist? You say that with a palpable trace of disgust in your tone, StevieJ.

As a Labour supporter, surely you support the notion of an elected official pursuing populist policies.

    How irksome for you.

I am very happy if it is for the public good, populist and public good are not always the same as I am sure you know.

Aww come on guys, we had a nice thread discussing something and then you have to divert it to talk about sockies, slights, who someone may be etc.

    Worse than my kids!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
