Toilet Roll Quality....?

  • How about paper towels?
  • My uncle works in a toilet roll manufacturing complex (;)) so he often picks us up damaged produce, usually it's supermarker own brand, but when it's available for a fifth of the price, who's going to complain, especially when they say damaged, it's usually the packaging.
  • Another convert to Nicky here. I visit Farm Foods regularly for milk and bits but neever considered the loo roll.
  • Just used my andrex shea butter toilet paper (£1.80ish for 4 rolls from HB) .......... bliss:j

I used to always buy Andrex up until a couple of years ago when I tried Asda toilet roll, think its called Shades. It seems far better quality. I also tried Tesco own brand stuff but found that very thin and poor quality compared to Asda.
  • Another for Nicky here. I buy Asda Shades (if can't get to Home Farm) but Nicky wins the No1 spot.
All the other higher priced brands are dreadful now. I got so embarrassed when a friend from US came over & asked if we had anything other than sandpaper in the house! LOL That was a few years back & the premium brands have got FAR worse since then.

I agree with this I buy tesco value, it's very soft and as strong as the brand names which really aren't worth the money when you consider where it ends up! :D

Not good for your toilet or your plumbing, as they don't break up as easily as loo roll does.....

That's why there are often signs up in public toilets asking folk not to put paper towels down the toilet.
