Hell old stylers,
My OH has been sick for a couple of days and the only thing he has eaten in two days has been half a ham sandwich. He is now feeling hungry but says his stomach is still queasy. Can anyone suggest any light meals I could make him while he´s unwell and feels sickly?
I look forward to your replies.

Hello,
When i have been unwell, i normally start with some toast, or a light biscuit like rich tea.
I normally am guided but what i "fancy" too.

I tend to go for toast and scrambled egg when I'm feeling like that. Nice n easy to digest0

I read something about the BRAT diet sometime ago. It's supposed to be good for queasy tums. It's Bananas, Rice, Apples and Toast.

when i'm nauseous, i tend to just drink lots of water and juice with the odd bit of dry toast (grease makes me even more queasy) and a bit of fruit.Monthly Food Budget: out of the window0

our whole family once had a bad tummy bug the doctor said don't have milk or milk products, as the bacteria can multiply in it! But boiled potato, clear soup or toast would be OK.
Personally, I find a cup of bovril and dry toast does the trick for me (It even worked during my chemo on the days I was feeling rough!)Growing old is manditory, Growing up is optional! :j0 -
I felt really sick when I had the flu not long ago.

I will also vote for toast and flat lemonade (not diet).

Thank you for your suggestions. I have a few more ideas now. Fortunately I am quite an old styler myself so have some homemade soup in the freezer I can defrost for him for lunch.0

When I was ill I just had toast to start with and then if I was ok with that I tried scrambled egg minus the milk. I found that my stomach could cope with them.0
