Oh Pickle
what are we going to do with you? It's a good possibility then all is well with French supervisory-type-person but she doesn't have your number. Well, I hope so anyway.
As for your other request: My large collection of sub-optimal cabbage is standing by!Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

Hi In a Pickle
I understand the feeling re prioritising your time on this website. I have been on it for an hour. Am off to bed def in a min, nevertheless, Im sure you will sort it out so you have the right balance. Its something Im working on too , never under estimate the power of numbers though. I take heart on here from the simple fact that there are lots of people bravely dealing with debt, and each of our stories has something to offer others. Its very positive here in that way, and surely that can only be serving to help you in other areas of your life, so dont fret about it too much!! Well done so far! Goodnight! My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
May 2013 £124,080.27= £37,903.50 paid off WOW!!!!! Well done! There is a guardian angel out there! :AI'm visualising success, debt freeness, and happy days!:T0 -
What you said makes perfect sense and a lot of us can very definitely relate to the procrastination stuff......read the diaries of seaxwyn and myself and you will see you are certainly not alone in leaving very important things to the last minute! So, if we can assist in getting your time management under control, then we will be happy to do so!
As for the rest of it - remember it is not necessarily about working harder but working smarter.......and I think that very much applies!

Hi all. Thanks (sort of!) for the promise of cabbages.
Update...was at work for 7 hours today. Came home, found a book on procrastination someone recommended to me had arrived so I started reading it. Phone seemed to be engaged forever until it became an indecent hour to ring France (they are one hour ahead). Instead, I decided to write DipSup a quick e-e-mail. I've just had it sent back to my account by some sort of error. I think she's changed her e-mail address. I think she may have moved appartment and changed her telephone number as well, but that could just be the paranoia starting to set in.
I'll have to leave it until tomorrow to try ringing. In the meantime, I'm going to read this book on procrastination as, ironically, the time wasted doing this will apparently provide me with the tools to cure me of my disease. I'll put the actual theory in practice tomorrow.
Right, have been as rough as a bear's backside all day as didn't sleep well last night so want to get through as much of the book as possible, then sleep. I'm probably going to regret this as a course of action.
Night all! xPlease call me 'Pickle'

I know! :rotfl:But actually, I'm near the end (it was pretty long - I stayed up til 2 reading it then couldn't absorb any more) and it's pretty good and makes sense. I'm just finishing the last bchapter, then going to put it into practice. I feel better about gettingg my work done already! (Admittedly, it might not last long, but I'm going with it while it's good.)Please call me 'Pickle'

OK, so this counts as my login for today. Am finishing the book I started yesterday (!), then going to the library to study, then meeting my friend for dinner, then home then a bit more study I think. See you tomorrow! xPlease call me 'Pickle'
