Honestly, no word of a lie, French uni administration (in fact, just France in gneneral) makes British administration look comparatively perfect. The French have spent since the Napoleonic era developing a rubbish system of overly-complex administration which helps nobody at best, actively makes thing more difficult than necessary most of the time and is currently making my life hell at the moment! A French friend off mine said he had a similar problem, but that my chances of getting it sorted out are probably minimal. I'll just have to wait until tonight, but I'm bricking it cos I know they'll have no conscience about throwing me on the scrapheap. Over here I could complain to somone at least!
They really are that awful! :eek:Please call me 'Pickle'

Oh hark at me! Something really bad will happen soon and I'll have to stop moaning about trivial stuff...and get off here. I KNEW setting up my own thread was a bad idea: I'm enjoying replying to everyone's posts and am just using it as a way to not do my work. Bad Pickle! :mad:Please call me 'Pickle'

Been very idle today: mum fell and hurt her ankle yesterday and can barely walk so have had to help round the house. I've been in the library for ages, but can't shift myself to do anything. I'm having to promise myself to force myself to make up for it when I get home. Am about to be very non-MS and go for a coffee with a friend, a meet-up arranged a fair while ago. I made myself a budget for this month which incorporated this, a night out I have to attend tomorrow and dinner with a friend who comes to town once a year on Monday/Tuesday. This about to get thrown out the window as I've just developed another meet-up with a friend I can't get out of on Sunday (final goodbye before she goes to France for the year) which was not in the equation. I'm going to have to develop some emergency funds into the buudget next month. And I thought I was being sooo clever! Please call me 'Pickle'
