I've won £3.34 on BB tonight. It's a very random amount, but it's definitely better than nothing! Please call me 'Pickle'

Without meaning to make anyone vomit into their cornflakes, my GF really deserves the love. She's selfless, caring, imaginative, thoughtful and doesn't conform to most of the stereotypes you ladies have levelled at you by the popular media. And she's hot. :rotfl:
*Vomits* (Only joking!)
That's very sweet, Ed, but 'a cold-hearted killing machine'? Puhlease...you show yourself up the very next paragraph!
Still, enjoy your girlfriend, Christmas and New Year. Lord help you if the weather is any worse in Scotland than if it is here. xPlease call me 'Pickle'

This is probably going to be my last time online before Christmas, so I would like to wish all you regulars (and any lurkers!) a wonderful Christmas time and a great start to 2010 which will hopefully lead (either partially or fully), to debt-freeness. (Or, if you are Lee, I hope you manage to save a lot!
) Take care in the snow and see you here again soon! :T

Was at work today (time-and-a-half and I think I also get a day in lieu). I was asked to work next Monday as well, another Bank Holiday, so even more time-and-a-half wages. Yippee, given the small number of hours I'm currently getting. Went round the other shops to see what was for sale and bought a beautiful half-price cardigan for my Goddaughter's birthday, plus two small half-price toiletries sets to have in during the year for random, unexpected birthday presents. Extreme:money:-ing!
I was quite proud going round as there was little I really wanted to buy myself. I bought myself some some foundation (non-sale but necessary and it lasts for ages so well worth the £24 price tag) which I needed anyway, but there was little I really wanted to buy, apart from my usual book vice, but I told myself that I wasn't allowed to buy any as I have a massive box of unread books I have already bought, plus a load out from the library as well. I would like a new outfit for New Year's Eve as I am going to a party and all my friends have seen all my clothes a million times before, so I will keep an eye out for something reasonably priced between now and then, but overall I'm quite happy as I am.Please call me 'Pickle'

Christmas has been very variable: dinner was gorgeous but one of the other members of the house kicked off a completely unecessary big row yesterday which has made me regret paying all the money I had saved off my CC so that I can no longer use it to move out
Sounds like a healthy family Christmas to meOur celebrations ran the gamut from joyful to arguments, to mental health concerns among some of our more senior guests!
Happy Christmas to you all the same Pickle - congrats on getting the overtime in when the going's good.0
