Oi, you two! :rotfl:
I must admit, I'm quite bad on the ol' book front, but I have got a lot better...that 'No More Buying Books' thread seems to be working. I tend only to buy that which can no longer be sourced at the library (my favourite authors excepting), and it has made a fairly big difference.
And no, Ed, Pickle does not play the bagpipes. It is a far smaller instrument. And much less noisy. Not like a 20 a day smoker at all! Please call me 'Pickle'

Have bought a ticket for tomorrow's rollover Euromillions as a part of a syndicate at work. If I stop posting soon, it's cos I've won (not likely)! :rotfl:
However, on a money note I got my payslip today, which tells me that I will be paid slightly more than I expected this month. Good times! Please call me 'Pickle'

Morning Radish
That's what I wondered!? Maybe Pickle won the Euromillions after all and is lying on a beach in the Caribbean enjoying the sun!
Maybe everyone's over on the Tesco/Asda thread - 25000 posts in a few weeks  It's a full time job keeping up with that !
Hope everyone's well x0 -
No I didn't win the Euromillions. I've just been having a crisis of conscience.
I have been thinking very long and hard about some of the things I have said in my thread. Initially, it started as very much an MSE project, but came to encompass many more aspects of my life which are not necesarily MSE. This seems to be the case for most posters/threads as money does not exist in a vacuum, rather as one of the many aspects of our lives. However, I feel that my frustrations with other aspects of my life have resulted in me expressing many feelings which perhaps ought to have remained unsaid in public (albeit in a public void which I never expected to be anything more than wholly annonymous, but that which now has started to have slight fringe implications in real life due involvement with things such as Memorygirl's Matrix, and other real-life bumpings into lovely MSE people) so that I feel that I should bow out now, before the slight fringe implications become more insiduous.
I was leaving my thread to die (nicely!), although I was thinking of perhaps hanging around for a few of the challenges on other threads (Yes, the book pile is still huge!).
If you have contributed to the thread then thank you for the (mostly) fun times. I've met some wonderful people virtually, and learnt a huge amount about money, life and making things work for you under the worst of circumstances from some of the stupendous posters we have on here, but I feel that I've poisoned my thread with too much bad feeling ever to keep writing here with a good conscience. I'll still keep an eye on you, though!
Best of luck with your debt journey and the rest of your life.
Pickle
