Yup, but I'm programmed to 'noctural' i.e. stay up all night, get up late as normal, so I need not to get back into that habit. :eek:Please call me 'Pickle'

Not a good day, to say the least.
Firstly, am FURIOUS about the increase in tuition fees, and so am fully intending to buy the following record and help get it to Christmas no1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQFwxw57NBI (out Dec 12 in case you are interested, on iTunes).
Also, this morning I got a phone call from my boss saying that I had been overpaid last month to the tune of nearly £120 due to an 'admin error'. They want the money back, and could I give it them back this month? This month, boss, with Christmas round the corner and the fact that you've just slashed my hours to beggary meaning that I'll have problem paying the rent? Want to find out what my net pay will be this month, first, please?
So boss rang up HQ, who informed him that I will be getting paid a fair bit more than I expected (phew!), probably cos of the really complicated way in which we get paid overtime/commission the month after we earn it, so I've given it them back as I know that I will be absolutely stoney broke next month and won't have any spare cash to give them.
Have rounded up all the money in my copper pot/money from returning the pens etc. and put it in my bank. The Musical Instrument Fund now stands at £115.93, which isn't bad considering, but that's taken what's left of my savings as well, so that's all I'm worth in the world.
Was also having real problems getting into my savings account, which was a hassle as it made it harder to differentiate between my 'saved' money, and what was just there, so one good thing about today is that I finally got access sorted.
Also got letter from bank reducing my old overdraft from £1000 to £500, but it's at 18.9%, so am just going to ring them up and cancel it. I don't need it, and that's a whopping interest rate. Please call me 'Pickle'

This is interesting, guys: dynamic pricing - or how internet companies are trying to get one over on you by raising the price on things they know you are interested in (keep an eye out for it in real life): http://www.slate.com/id/2276918/pagenum/2Please call me 'Pickle'

It is just for uni courses...so far...doesn't currently apply for me, but it's the thin edge of the wedge. What's next, the NHS? This country has little left in terms of a manufacturing industry - all it can produce is ideas, and the more it prevents students, the fewer the 'ideas' it can produce...such a waste!Give us the next generation trying to compete against China and India...no chance! This is going to be one cut that will be long regretted, and don't get me started on how this country is going to be the laughing stock of the EU in a few years time in terms of language learning.

Lol, fair enough, but my fires of righteous indignation are burning brightly!
However, I will dim them enought to let you get some sleep as you need it: take care of yourself. xPlease call me 'Pickle'

*Comes back into thread, sees the state of it, tucks soapbox away in the corner and puts bottle of white wine in the recycling box*
There, that's better!
Have just put another pound into the MIF, and have decided to go visit an old uni friend near Peterborough for the weekend. We arranged for me to go either this weekend of last, but with the weather being as bad as it has been we delayed it. We weren't even sure if we would be able to do it this time round, but we can, so.
Am coming back Monday, and will be going to Ireland Tuesday, so life just got busy. Please call me 'Pickle'
