Am not long back from a simply AMAZING Japanese restaurant: we (Picklemum, Picklebrother, Picklebrother's girlfriend and Pickle) went cos I chose it (we've been driving past it for years and I've always liked the look of it), and looked it up online, where the menu looked good. What I didn't realise, however, was how much fun it would be! The tables were like posh benches, wrapped around the cooking area, where we could see the food being cooked in front of us. The chefs were really good fun, flipping sautees potatoes into our mouths, and generally showing off cooking (in the nicest way)! :T Would definitely go again.

P.S. RUN from RunDMC, iwantahome? That's pretty nifty - didn't know that. ('Cos it's like that, and that's the way it is'! ) Now I feel cooler, somehow. :cool:

Well my head was firmly up my !!! in my 20's and in my 30's I changed career, went back to uni, met DH and got married at 38! So trust me it all will come together!

I'm not always good. Plus, I ate something pickled at the restauant tonight which means I'm a cannibal, and that won't go down well in terms of Heaven Points, will it? :rotfl:

I'm not sure if it was a relation, but it was definitely one of the species! Can you imagine me meeting you, shaking hands and then munching a lump out of the hand you offered in friendship. That's downright rude!

Right, off work yesterday and not too much done with it.

Off work today, and plan to do tons of stuff. Wrote a mindmap last night and everyfink!

Off I go...I'll write my 'to do/done' or 'tada' list, as they are now being called, up later.

Got a speeding ticket a little while ago. Filled out the form etc. to send off but saw that the letter said get proof of postage, so I left it until the Monday. However, when I went to get the letter on the Monday to send it, I couldn't find it! :eek: As a result, I've just e-mailed them, hoping that I'm not past the 'get it back to us' date, so hopefully things won't go any further. :eek:
