Hiya Pickle, taking the chance to pop on and see how you are. My dd is off sick from school today and Ive been sitting here wondering how Im going to get the work done! Anyway, sounds good about thenew haircut and dresses. Good for you. Good to spoil yourself once in a while, and I hope the job situation sorts itself out. Take care !

Hope DD is feeling better soon and that's it's only a slight cold or something. I think you're a miracle worker even trying to get any work done with her at home - does she have a nap when ill, or anything? At least you would stand a chance of getting something done, however little.

And as for the dresses...:D! (They were necessary as I have at least 4 functions I know of before Christmas, probably more to come, and I got 20% pff them both as well, so that' not too bad.)

As for the hair, it was much-needed. I want to get some highlights as well, if possible, so I will be well=spoilt by the time it is all done. Not sure I'll be able to get the highlights, but will do my best. Because I'm worth it! ;)

My word, after the amount of stuff I've just given to charity/other good causes, my halo shouldn't need cleaning for the next decade! :A

I've just been all over town depositing loads of stuff which is no longer of any use to me. Some of it was really good, but hard to find good homes for it, so I travelled a bit further to send it to people who would appreciate it. I'm glad to be rid of it, though, as there it has created more space in my life, and I want to get rid of more when appropriate as well.

    Onwards and upwards...:)

:A I am very impressed with all your decluttering so you have two very clean halos :A

I liked the anniversary declutter thread

Week 1 - paper, sort out all your paper and file away
Week 2 - wood, then a list of wooden things to declutter, I picked coat hangers so went through my clothes

and so on (I can't remember anymore wedding anniversarys :rotfl:)

Dd is better thanks Pickle. By tues I had to get some chores done out and about as on mon I didn't get everything done as I would have wanted as it was just simply that she needed to rest at home in the warm so she was all snug in the car on tues with her duvet over her while I did the min I could get away with so we could get home again. Shes always v good, realises I need to get it done to keep the bills paid and the bank account where it needs to be so we just did what we had to do and she understands thats the way it is for now. Anyway, shes back at school and apparently all her friends missed her!

I have highlights too occasionally! you are right , you are worth it!!!
My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
May 2013 £124,080.27= £37,903.50 paid off WOW!!!!! Well done! There is a guardian angel out there! :AI'm visualising success, debt freeness, and happy days!:T

That's a good idea! The only problem is that I have so much paper between uni notes, books, letters etc. that I could conceivably spend more than a year decluttering it all if I did it bit-by-bit. ;) And, of course, I'm not married so I don't have an anniversary to declutter for, but hey ho, that means I don't have a husbands stuff to make even more of a mess, so it's not all bad! :D;)

Alas, my mobile hairdresser is ill, so won't be able to do my highlights this weekend, but I'll see what I can get done next week.

And I'm glad to hear that DD is feeling better. I always get the impression that she must be quite mature for her age, and it's nice to know that her friends missed her. :)
