I think I am in denial about just how tight the belts will have to be after Christmas. The rugrats certainly are.
On the other hand - I feel like I'm n a countdown to study (haven't even been accepted - actually haven't even applied:rotfl:). I can just see where I want to be - and to be honest a way out of the grind that work/school run/voluntary stuff has become. There just seems to be more and more things squeezed into the same amount of time - and I want out.
(I know - I can hear a chorus of 'don't we all')Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Yes, def want out too. Like you, already have a degree, and though it gave me the grounding to be able to do my job, would like another one so could do something else. Maybe less money but more satisfaction. However am shackled by two lots of school fees, and one more lot to come.
But mainly, would like to return to study for access to the 21 year olds. If you see my diary for today, you'll see why. There's honest for you! Hhm, maybe that's why they call me Mrs Robinson? Ha ha.
Don't know how to subscribe, but guess can figure out. So will follow you.

heh heh - have just caught up with your diary today. Your weekend sounds so familiar...:oOnward and upward - with the odd step to the side

evening all - am catching up with myself a bit. Have not been so well the last couple of days - and I have to admit something shameful
which I didn't realise before.
I because I was sick, I couldn't really eat - now usually I would say that I am a comfort eater when push comes to shove - but that option wasn't available to me. So what happened - I suddenly got this overwhelming urge to BUY THINGS. Where did that come from??:huh:
How weird.
Anyway, I put it to reasonable use and courtesy of amazon now have a few Christmas presents sorted - but of course I had to get 'a little something' because 'I was ill', and 'I've been so good' blah blah blah.
And here was I, thinking food was the issue!
Anyway - another month ends and here's the update:
CC1 - Gone tra la laaa
CC2 - Empty - yehaaaa
CC3 - £400 to pay
Bank of mum - Still £700
AM still owed £180 on my credit card. Mind you, am being patient - considering my mum NEVER EVER mentions how much we owe her. I can do the same for someone else.
October plan
Clear CC3 - and (if we can manage it) pay mum £200.Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side
