If something is muckle big then that means it's MASSIVE. It's indicitive of size, not a special type of biscuit.

I should have taken a picture though. It was a meal in itself :D

    In age old Scottish MSEness

Many a mickle maks a muckle (watch the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves.)

    Morning all!

It's way too early here to be out of bed, yet here I am! Emergency overtime became available so I did an hour yesterday and will be doing four hours today. This will take the total amount of overtime done this month to 13 hours, a total of around £139 before tax etc. Every little helps at this time of year as Birthday Season starts soon - dad and brother next month and two close friends in December pre-Xmas, one on the 27th and then uncles start birthdays too  On the plus side, my birthday is in December too :D

    Plans for today are:

    1. Not spend the whole day on Farmville. Maybe. :A I do need to harvest tomatoes when I get home, but that should be it for the day.

    2. Hang up washing before work

    3. Start dinner before work. I have chicken thighs which I'm going to brown first then add to the slow cooker with tomato (tinned), herbs, peppers and mushrooms. A sort of casseroley thing maybe. I'm also going to punt in some chicken granules to thicken and some garlic puree. It should be quite good.

Vague plans of tidying the house later if I'm not too knackered :D

Cats have been driven mad by the smell of browning chicken and are now sulking as they were given not a scrap.

First load of washing has been done and hung up and another one is in the machine with a note left for Mr Fresian asking him to hang it up :D No time to do dishes (It was ever thus!) but I should have just enough time to have breakfast and sort out flasks for coffee to save my overtime costing me money.

While I remember if you read The Times and aren't interested in the free REM iTunes, can you PM me the code before 1pm as that's when I finish work and if I haven't had a code by then I'll just go and buy it myself.
