Fabulous shopping trip FF!
I really like hearing about how everyone mornings go, I seem to have no time for anything in the morning and I've always wondered why!
Mine is more like -
6.30am - Alarm goes off, I get straight up (normally lieing awake waiting for it anyway lol) and sort out clothes I'm wearing
6.35 - wash face, brush teeth, etc then get dressed
6.45 - make up and hair
7.00 - do any odd jobs and leave the house
7.30 - arrive at work and have my morning cuppa and lovely quiet productive time before the school day starts!
I could never fit in time for MSE or comping, I take my hat off to you guys! Don't know how I'd manage if I had kids!

Quick pre-work post (woo, overtime!!)
Today I need to work for three hours and then go to Costco and Tesco. I'm buying a massive lump o'mince from Costco and lots of essentials from Tesco. I'm using this month as an opportunity to stock up on some things so we can take from the grocery budget next month if needed. I'm planning on buying lots of tinned tomatos, veg etc. Full details of grocery spending will be unveiled on the Grocery Challenge thread later!
I spent £10 yesterday on a train ticket from Aberdeen to Edinburgh. My parents are taking me to Aberdeen in October for a short break and I needed to book my train home. Hopefully I can convince my mum to pay for the ticket though so it's not in the spreadsheet yet.
Right, time to brush teeth and find socks.
Happy Saturdays to all!

I have a use for the beans. Ladies and Gentlemen I present Mixed Bean Casserole.
2 onions
olive oil
500g+ dried beans (or 3+ tins beans) any ol' thing will do including baked beans although I suspect the more variety the better
2 x tins tomato
1/2 cup veg stock (I cheat and save the flavourings from the 9p noodles - I am a cheapskate)
Herbs - mint, thyme, sage and whatever else you have handy
Fry onions. Add beans and liquids, boil. Slow cook. Simples. Not a clue what it tastes like though. Tis my plan for tomorrows dinner. Will report back.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
