Very quick update - I'm working at eight and have to leave in 20 minutes, still have to eat, pack lunch and make up flasks!

The Good

• I still have a job!! The selection process is finished and I got my first choice :j Still same salary etc, but I'm very happy about that
• Went out with KissJen last night and had such a good time gassing we didn't go to a movie in the end :rotfl:

The Bad

• Miscommunication with lodger means that I thought he was moving out next week but still paying me rent yesterday. He thought differently but will pay me for one week. Urgh. Need to check bank statements to make sure he's not doing me out of £300+
• I got the job over my best friend at work. Tippytoeing around that one just now, not pleasant.

The good is AWESOME.

The bad is not so awesome. Terrible situation with buddy at work. No doubt you will be super supportive and if best bud at work is upset, its the company not you she should be grouchy with.

PS - Nice MSE moves on the new trainers front!!

:jYay for the good news! It must be a MAHOOSIVE relief to have that settled. Hopefully your friend will understand, as i'm sure she would have expected you too if it had been the other way around.

Boo to the lodger news though. Hope you can manage without that expected cash.

Brilliant news about the job! Have put myself down for the Meet, but scared! Asked on there if non-MSE people can come as I get scared in Edinburgh on my own (story involves a hen-nite, French maid outfit and the Rocky Horror Show), and me getting lost! We could always meet up then go our own-way, me and OH that is!
