Where did the flipping day go again?
DD and Samuel arrived for a chat closely followed by DD2.
Then a friend popped round and we shared a bottle of vino on the deck. It is seriously warmer outside than in.
Going to eat some leftovers and watch angels and demons. :A
Who is it who lives in Waltham? Scaredy? Coming down in a few weeks to fetch great aunt.0 -
Pepe is on sporadically but he tends to bob in and out.
I have just about an hour left at the anti-viral centre
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

After 1/2 hour sitting in car park (in car that was runninng on the whiff of an oil rag) I decided to abandon car and go and get a drink in McDonalds-had a grilled chicken salad and a tea (less than 200 cals in total thank you very much!) and then looked, car park still solid-walked around the retails park and saw loads of things I'd love to be able to buy and sighed a lot...Went back to car and hour later and after some cheeky manouvers managed to get off the ruddy car park! (btw girls-bought a nice black size 14 pencil skirt for £14-whoop!) Filled up with petrol and came home...
Spud-did you read the other night about my amazing chidhood? Not once did it involve a laptop (tv's were still black and white in the 70's!) I had hand me downs or things my Mom got from the Sally Ann and I never missed out on a single thing. I did get to drive to Florida twice (omg, 24 hours in the car a 5 years old SUCKED) but I think I was darn lucky...
Cat-so lovely to have you back.
CaptHaggis!-welcome, nice to have some 'fresh blood' Mwah ha ha ha!
Speaking of that-where's the Pepsters lately? Is he avoiding us as well?
OMG just typed this reply twice with the caps lock on both times
My kids never ask for owt Bun, they're both dead happy. The odd time they do ask, they automatically check prices of things before they ask.
It's me - I just feel like I'm letting them down sometimes, the fact that DS wears shoes with holes in and wouldnt dream to mention it or ask for new ones
Glad you finally got out of Tescos. I go early morning now, cant be doing with the crowds :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Cant do that. No-one in their right minds would want to come here :rotfl:
Nor here..........saying that on a clear day you can see Hartlepool Docks from our bedroom window:D
Still there is Durham, Beamish Museum, lots of beaches..........any takers for the North East
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
What's going on here just lately? People are disappearing.

Inky hasn't posted since 4th Aug - just after the Weymouth meet. I was going to pop in for a cuppa.0 -

I would, but unfortunately I have a parrot with attitude who'd sulk if I left him with strangers and an old cat that would probably die as soon as someone else walked in the door...just to spite me.
Maybe we should just do a child exchange.....2 hormonal girls anyone?
