I'm sooooo mad :mad: just need to have a little rant.
Rang XOH earlier to talk to him about the house. All was fine, he said 'do you want me to come and see the kids tonight?' (would have been nicer if he'd said 'I'd like to see the kids tonight', as he hasn't seen them for over a week with holidays etc...but I let that go.)
Have told the kids he is coming, then have just rung him now to ask what time, because I need to nip out, and he is in the pub, sounding quite drunk. I asked him not to turn up drunk to see them, so he has decided, rather than to stop drinking, to just not bother seeing them tonight. :mad:
Then to add insult to injury, he said, very unconvincingly, 'Aww, but I really wanted to see them too....' (just not enough to forego another few pints).
Someone remind me why I wasted 12 years with this man????? :mad:

Sangs - Wasted 12 years but have the rest of your life to look forward to... He's the one missing out by not seeing his kids and it will bite him on the bum in years to come when they realise what a waste of space he is.

Right-y-o! I'm off to bake some buns (I bake buns and NOT cupcakes), a bog-standard sponge cake (ok, with lashings of butter icing) and maybe a pear and ginger crumble cake...

After 1/2 hour sitting in car park (in car that was runninng on the whiff of an oil rag) I decided to abandon car and go and get a drink in McDonalds-had a grilled chicken salad and a tea (less than 200 cals in total thank you very much!) and then looked, car park still solid-walked around the retails park and saw loads of things I'd love to be able to buy and sighed a lot...Went back to car and hour later and after some cheeky manouvers managed to get off the ruddy car park! (btw girls-bought a nice black size 14 pencil skirt for £14-whoop!) Filled up with petrol and came home...
Spud-did you read the other night about my amazing chidhood? Not once did it involve a laptop (tv's were still black and white in the 70's!) I had hand me downs or things my Mom got from the Sally Ann and I never missed out on a single thing. I did get to drive to Florida twice (omg, 24 hours in the car a 5 years old SUCKED) but I think I was darn lucky...
