I've just been offered another dog - don't worry, i've said no! The dog I sometimes walk for my neighbour is a springer. He's lovely but they only walk him for about 15 minutes a day. This morning I took him out for two hours and he had a ball. Lovely dog but really needs a home where they're not out from 8am until 7pm. I think I know someone who'd be perfect for the pooch though.
I so want a dog! But it wouldn't be fair to have one in this little teensy weensy flat, especially an energetic dog like a springer. It would make me have a heck of a lot more exercise tho!

:T:T:TThank you Rosepink for this excellent idea. Just the tip I needed. x
LOL, you're welcome! Washing them in a pillowcase means the underwires can't come out and ruin the washing machine - I usually tie a loose knot at the end of the pillowcase to keep the bra in.

    CyclingYorkie how is your DD?

Lil me well done on all the hard work you have done moving, and yay for your gas and electric bill!

HHC @ 7pm anyone? I've got to wash up so I can cook some dinner before DH comes home at 8:30 - I've got nothing to cook it in!

Evening everyone. Just the dailies and a HHI done today. Went to see mum then went to the hospital. Came home early as I was having my 2 back windows measured for double glazing. Its the only 2 that havent been done. One is quite a large window so I think it will be a lot warmer when done. Been shopping with DD. Have put ironed clothes away and everywhere is tidy.

lil_me Wishing all much happiness in your new house. Plus congrats on passing the OCAS part of your course.
    wiseowl, lell Welcome

That's a shame, I would happily have come to help you. Maybe there will be some nice flyladies near where you live who can help.

Also, do you have any skills you could barter for help with the decorating? For example, I don't know what you've done as a job before, but we've got a friend who's an accountant and we are going to ask her if she would help DH with his accounts in return for him cutting her hedges. If she doesn't want that, we will pay her, but I wondered if you could do something similar - there are schemes online where you can exchange things like dog walking, gardening, housework and in return someone else will do things you need doing.

I can't remember what it's called now...will go and investigate ETA: just google skills swap and loads of things come up
