Thanks for all the thanks everyone.
I now have yearly smears but that's not too big a chore if I know everything's OK.
For the tattoo I'm considering "Quod non me delet fortiorem facit" on my wrist, which is Latin for "What does not kill me makes me stronger", apparently.
I just need to find a Latin script on line as I don't want it in the flowing style of writing a lot of tattoos are done in, as that's not how Latin was written.
Bit of research still to do methinks.
Also want some cat paw prints across one foot..hmmm.DEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0 -
Morning All
Well I did absolutely no flying yesterday - DS went to work with DH and me and DD went shopping. I then went to an Ann Summers party in the evening which I got in from at midnight so after DD woke me up at 2.50 crying because she'd had a nightmare and DS got in bed with me at 3.20 (DH had gone to work), DS got up at 6 and I'm shattered!
I have put washing on the line and reloaded the WM this morning though - really don't feel like doing anything else though but I need to.
The kids want my DB and his family to come over for tea so that'll be something else if that's happening.
Have a good day all

Had a lovely time last night, although my shoes REALLY aren't practical, as my feet hurt when I walk or take them off
so I need to find some alternatives...
I'm off to London this morning to see my mum's pictures before the exhibition closes, and am meeting my brother & SiL on the train. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to stay awake until midnight for this walk...!0 -
Morning all.
I'm really going to have to completely reorganise my bedroom I think - which is where my PC is. Now DD is home, the current orientation of the PC means she can sneak up on me and see what I'm doing before I realise! This is not good. A mother needs to have some secrets....
Did loads of washing yesterday which all dried nicely. I shall do my bedding today as the weather's good. DS, DiL and I are thinking of going off hunting beef this afternoon again. It'll be nice for a walk as well.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I've got bare feet and a vest top on plus all the upstairs windows open
lol...sorry Dusty, I've had the heating on this week, only for an hour or so. It's so blooming cold now.
(((wilf))) - I hope today is better for you xx
(((zoe))) - ditto xx
(((serena))) - big hugs xx
Hi angelnikki :waves: good to see you back
crafty - are you ok?...I've sent toots a text but its a bit early for a reply. I dont know where her aunt is. One of my aunts is in Elgin  They are fine. Uncle was pleased as his work told him not to bother coming in. I couldnt believe the state of Elgin and Fochabers.
I need to pop down to the bank to put a cheque in. DDs bank card still hasnt arrived, but I dont think they'll let me know if its been sent out. I'll try to find out and then I think I'll be writing a complaint letter. Getting v fed up with being used as a cashline machine!
Right...see you all later for some HHCs:D

Yes I'm OK thanks (well apart from fighting with my OU assignment)
The great thing about being retired is that if you don't have any appointments you don't have to go out.
Glad your Aunt and Uncle are OK. The pictures on the news were a real shock. According to the paper this morning there was also quite a bit of flooding in low lying bits of Aberdeen.
One poor chap had the basement of his piano repair business flooded
Dry and some sunshine this morning - hope it lasts.0 -

That wouldn't work and I wouldn't want to do that. The PC desk is currently orientated so that I have my back to the bedroom door so the screen is visible from the hallway. I need to try and turn it 90 degrees I think but the room is v. small. I shall work on it...
Have a good day at the gallery.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
