Upstairs hoovered and dewebbed (not dusted though). Floors cleared downstairs. Just going to run round with the hoover, then need to shower, dress and get myself in the car as I have to be in High Wycombe for 7pm for a wedding reception.
What am I going to wear? Turquoise MaxMara dress that I wore for my brother's wedding, or shrinkwrap LBD (those of you who were here at Christmas will know the one I mean) or clingy black lace dress with long sleeves, modest cleavage and low V back...
Off to do the hoovering...0 -

note to self page 31
I have been to work. DD has been with me and has been pressganged into doing shredding/sorting whilst the staff meeting went on (ALL morning) but she came to the pub for lunch and had sausage and mash and then helped tidy the classroom and then got a treat...she's MINI mad and one of my colleagues has one. I did him a favour and he said he owed me one so I asked if he'd give DD a spin in his mini cooper sometime. Better than that! he let her open it; start the engine, sit in the drivers seat and rev it and she got her spin...she walked up to me and said 'wow!'
Meanwhile I was flying in my classroom....
look away Dusty
We were going to go to I*cof* but there's been a crash and the M1 is effectively blocked.

Plum crumble was delicious so will make a couple more and freeze in single size portions
I did HH pilates from the DVD - found it really tough going
Sorted out all the framed photos. I need to buy an album to stick the loose pictures in - I'll do that tomorrow
Wilf - that list looks longer than the first one! Is there away you could slit it up like I have - this week was boys bedrooms; next is the family room; one after my bedroom; final one for September is the kitchen. October is being saved for OH office - the room I never clean.
I need to write a few cheques out now so will check the online bank accounts and move some money. DS2 going to the carboot with Mum on Sunday so I will get his stuff together later.
i am writing it all down in a notebook room for room
then i am going to write what i need to do it ie paint paper etc
then i am going to put it in some sort of order i have to do this in order to do that
then am going to prioritise money and time wise
then am going to do it
any help is a bonus
daughter has just offered to help with anything... believe it when i see it but the offers there
then i am going to do my general flying but....give myself one or two jobs per day as extras some will be big extras..
but for now i am so damn tired
think i am emotionally drained too cos today it all exploded and i have been in tears about everything and ...and..
anyway everyone has been a great help and i feel better now its off my chest
thanks guys Debs xxxSave 12k in 2015 member 187. £62.50/60000 -
Dusty - register with littlewoods and leave it a while, then they send you a money off code, usually about 20%. Alternatively search the internet and you can usually find one.
Wilf - sounds like you've got a plan there. I have days where it's all too much and at least if you write it down you can try (I did say try!) to let it go a bit. Not easy I know. By the way, your talk of decorating has made me decide to tackle the children's room so i'm blaming you! I just need to change DS's mind - he wants me to paint his school football team on one wall! That's so not going to happen!
Flying - lots of bits done but no complete lists. I'm counting on DH to do something before tomorrow night! Mmmmm! xx0 -

:xmastree:managed to find tree (thanks tootiefrooties) so I can be added to list for Monday. Does order of rooms change each week or is the list the same?
Wiseowl, a new thread is started every Monday (or late Sun night) so look out for that with next weeks lists. The order of the rooms does change, so its a nice surprise!
And welcome.
