A question for women

used to use them like ppl have said, also when off to festivals and you cant be as clean and fresh (even with baby wipes) as you would like'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0

They are very good if you have a slight discharge which many women get when they hit the menopause, thrush or other problems - I have lichen sclerosus and use them otherwise I would be changing my knickers a few times a day because of the cream I have to use. I don't think they are supposed to be used when you are menstrual.0

I guess they're designed for the natural discharge most women get.
I've not used them, can't be bothered with it. I just change my pants often and wash them :rotfl:
I used to use them much more often, but I read an article (in a Spanish magazine) that said they can make you a bit dry, which is exactly what was happening to me. Since then I only use them before my period (in case of surprise, lately I don't even notice) and towards the end, when there is no much need to a mooncup/tampon but you still need something 'just in case'.
However, I have been converted to the mooncup for two months now and I have to say, only use pantyliners to the very occassional leaks (still getting to grips with it, but it is just great!). I used to have very painful periods, but this has changed a lot in the last three-four years and they are almost totally painless since using the mooncup, so I don't always realise what's going on until to late...:o0 -
i dont see the need to use them either, i find them very annoying:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0

I use them like this but also use them the rest of the month because of discharge too. It saves my underwear.0 -
I use them for the couple of days before I expect my period, just in case. Then the day after my period, just in case.

I also use them if I'm away and won't be able to wash my trousers as often as I would like

I'm guessing that us British women generally do not spend as much on our underwear as our European counterparts - thinking George and Primark! I think pl's are evil and unnecessary, but I will admit to their occasional use for those special liasions! But organic cotton all the way for me....

The pill I'm on makes my periods extremely light, too light for a tampon or a pad so I use them0

I like them and use them everyday, if I could change my underwear twice a day I would but I'm usually not home and its not practical.
I never used to use them until I had my two children.0
