Hello! Can I join in? I've had a sealed pot for about a week, I'm not going to open it on the 1st though obviously since there's only about £3 in there
I've kept a running total, so I'll just count what's in there as my first contribution to Challenge #3, if that's okay

A really warm welcome to the thread Linds88, welcome to MSE also! It's great to meet you and is never too late to join.
Enjoy yourself here and have great fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1. If you haven't already done so then read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll help you with any queries.
The way you've decided is perfect and we'll look forward to you collecting as much as you can for Christmas 2010. There's no need to keep a running total unless that's what you wish. Most of us just add change that's left over after shopping, or change found around the house etc, then have a surprise at the end of the year. It's common for us to put here what we've managed on a daily/weekly basis. It becomes fun that way and cheers us from the every day chores! You do whatever you're happy with...and GOOD LUCK saving!! :T
