exactly. they caused it, we pay for it and they STILL expect their big massive bonuses. Bonuses that are bigger than our annual household wage i may add! :mad:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Wow, not long to go now. I have my lottery winnings to put in the pot when I collect it (£7.90), also OH won £3 on a scratchcard and he said I can have it to put in my pot (bless him). Went out last night and had £5 that I wouldn't have had if we hadn't got a discount so that will go in too.
So excited.
Went to the bank again to get more money bags and asked the lady on behind the counter, she looked in her draw and picked up a few in her hand and said 'is that enough?' so I said yes but there were only 5 which is better than nothing but will go back and get some more.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
i've got a feeling some banks will only let you pay in 5 bags of change per account per day.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

Apparently it can also depend if they know you well. I trotted along with nearly £800 in £2 coins (all counted out in little bags) at the start of this month and they were fine about it.
Worked out that in order to reach my £500 sealed pot target, I should have been putting away about £10 each week. Don't think this is the case. Will have to do better for next year, won't I :-)
MDebts (incl Mortgage) at LBM (24/09/08) £102849  Now £0. DFD 1st July 20190 -

good to know. we have a few accounts with the same bank so we've always got around it by going "these into my account, these into DH's account, these into joint account etc" then moving them all over using online bankingGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
