Looks like you MUST switch all DDs (there's no mention of SOs and bill payments), although you don't have to mandate salary or pension.

Does switch involves closing previous account. I am interested in this offer but do not want to close my old account.

don't have to close account just transfer DD and SO and pay in a monthly amount £1000 abbey, £500 alliance.

Just spoke to the A&L who inform me that to get the £25.00 extra for recommending a friend, you have to give it 1 week between both applications.
All of which is fine and dandy with me as Ms Machine is getting a callback next monday to switch an old dormant Hfax account, - all of which equals £125.00 each:j

Yes mine has tracked. Applied on Friday 11th.
I see Quidco is now £50 for A+L bank accounts.
