It's lovely and warm outside, but I'm doing lot of typing atm and my hands are freezing! Atm, I'm actually warmer outside than inside.

I'm sat here like an old granny with a blanket over my knees, shivering...! I feel really out of sorts this week.... Altho a pension refund came thro this week which should keep us afloat until after xmas!

Just found out my credit card has been used by a fraudster to buy mobile phones and computers over the internet.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Luckily the bank are going to refund it all (NatWest). They didn't tell me about it though. I only found out when I rang them because my card had stopped working - how annoying is that? Good thing I wasn't travelling and relying on the card.

Wow that is really annoying. My card was cloned last year but they rang me straight away so it wasn't too bad.

Tirlittan - what did your BF think of your idea with the credit card?

Hey CMD, I think I did most of the talking and he just listened, agreeing I think. Was gonna check tonight what he thinks. Only saw him for a bit last night.

That's very annoying snow white, but at least they are refunding with no hassle.

snow white that's awful. at least they are going to refund it. i remember once DH bought a canoe - top of the range v. expensive and put it on his cc. he paid, got in the car and 5 mins up the road he got a call from his cc asking him where he was and had he just used his cc as they were concerned about a large transaction. surely if they were that concerned they should have not allowed the payment to go through?? muppets.

Yeah, I'm really lucky that my bank refunded it straight away, this is the second time it's happened.

Once they randomly blocked my card immediately after I used it abroad (which I do a lot) and then they rang my parents' house where the card was registered, asking to speak to me. My dad said I was on holiday in South America, but the bank didn't put two and two together and work out it was me using the card. Instead they refused to give my dad any info apart from saying I had been the victim of a crime. Of course I was oblivious to all this and enjoying my hols... My poor dad was worried sick and thought I'd been mugged!

Muppets indeed. :rotfl:

Anyway, how's everyone? Is our leader in NYC now?
