CAFC - depends on what your boss said. Also you said that job wasn't sustainable in the long run so is there any point in staying on there?

thats what I said to DH, see what happens at interview.
Basically what my boss has asked is if i would stay a bit longer for some days to just hlp train the replacements because they arent going to be ready.....
So theres potential for me to perhaps do some part time hours.....

I know I need (for my sanity) to not be doing the role for much longer, but I also need to pay the bills before we leave......so if this interview tomorrow doesnt pan out, i think i may, just for financial reasons see if there is something i can do there.

DH doesnt want me to go back because he doesnt want my boss to have the satisfaction of winning..... but i dont think (now) its even about that....

depending on the job you are going for they may not get all the paperwork through in time for you to start immediately so the extra week may give you some much needed money, maybe you could be non committal with your current job for a bit...

ETA do you think your boss may delay the whole process by delaying sending his reference for whichever next job you get?
