  • Hi all

Back from hols and jet lag all gone now (eventually)

I agree, we need re-invigoration, the thread has been in decline for a wee while. Any ideas? I kept the challenge in my sig, but more for me than the thread as it felt all of our debt situations had gone in slightly different directions.

So, do we go for a new challenge, or do we do something elase?

Welcome back! How were your hols?

That's the thing - we are all at different stages so that's why I suggested the title above and maybe we could all set our own personal challenge for 2010 and have it in the first post - be it debt payment, savings or mortgage overpayment.

    Maybe it could be

'The Paper Hatters - our aims for 2010' - what do you think?

  • LOL - ideas came after I had slowly typed my post

    I like the title CMD

Definitely up for something, as have £20k that needs shifting ASAP, I want to see how much of my debt I can clear in a year.

  • Oops - X-post again

Another good title, anything that allows us to make our own goals is good - lots of room for POAs

The holiday was great, but feels like a long time ago already. Have I missed anything?

  • And of course those titles leave plenty of room for new friends to join in

Exactly! Maybe the 2nd title is better as it might motivate us more? I can start a new thread if everyone is in agreement!

Not sure if you have missed much - you were here when I had Max weren't you? He is a great little baby and can't believe my luck with him :) not that I am biased or anything!

  • I was indeed, it sounds like it is going really well with your beautiful (not so) new arrival. Does it feel real or is it still slightly strange feeling.

Is CAFC around anywhere? should we check in with her before we do anything with the thread?

I think CAFC posts on the Pregnancy Thread more at the moment. Won't be long until her baby is due, is it June?

Yeah, I remember her saying that she is hanging out there at the moment. I will PM her and tell her about the new thread & give her the option to start it if she wants.
