Morning all,
Freezing here (as in most of the country)..
Lula - grrrrr to being stuck at home again because school's closed. You're right, I don't remember schools ever being closed because of snow - lot hardier then.
Numpty - that phone call is a joke, !!!!!! are they playing at?
Wol - good luck with the bubble wrapping
Hi to stampede and everyone else, hope you're managing to stay safe and warm. Rog, hope you're OK.The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Erm - not much:o. Did spend quite some time on insurance comparison sites. I have managed to get to work today as otherwise I would have got very little done.
I remember being snowed in the village (car wise) so being pulled in a sledge as a toddler to and from my brother's school a couple of miles away in the next village - I guess that must have been 81 which the news bods keep mentioning was snowy.
Morning All. Its snowing here but not too heavily.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Not taking advantage of the scrappage scheme yet :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Balance of power between the central heating and the temperature outside shifted last night...and it won;t get any warmer over the next few days. As many of my windows do not have curtains (or rails) up yet, bubble wrap seemed to be the best option to prevent heat loss....(either that or we're all moving into Piggie Palace
)
I'm proud to be a southern Wuss:D

Good afternoon everybody :hello: :hello: :hello:
Sorry I haven't been about much over the last couple of days - no broadband :mad: but fixed now. :T
'Trundling' finally slithered to a halt yesterday - although they did manage to deliver to a few local 'vulnerable' customers yesterday morning. Might start again tomorrow - depending on weather - currently minus 2 (at 3pm) - the snow has now frozen, making many side roads dangerous.
Am just about to read through the thread, to catch up on everything.
Have a warm day. :wave: :wave:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
