A bit 'happier' now  - tonight's ASDA 'trundle' has been cancelled :T :T
Unfortunately only because they want me to do tomorrow afternoon and evening and all day Sunday. :o:o

Still, at least I will be able to follow the 'Tony Gordon' saga on Corrie.

Not because I want to, though - there will be no choice chez nous. ;)

Oh god what a day...as I left to go to Cirencester, there was a huge accident outside my flat (2 fire engines and an ambulance and various police cars in attendance) so I got to Cirencester a little later than intended..it started raining as soon as I got out of the car and then rain solidly. I had a bit of lunch (why don't places give receipts?) and then drove home..so I had this idea that I would take the scenic route via Stow. I don't know how rog copes with lunatic drivers..he deserves a medal. The road conditions were appalling so I was driving carefully and not whizzing along at 60..more like 45-50 depending on the road (and even less in some places), then I got these idiots that ignored the fact that there were two solid white lines and crossed them. If something had been coming then I wouldnt have swerved..stupid twonks:mad: Went past an overturned car buried in a hedge that was covered in police tape..so that was enough of a warning..got further up the road to find that police were directing traffic around a blue car that had a badly damaged front end..it was the same twonk that had passed me earlier. Get on the M40 at Junction 15 and all ok and then I come to a grinding halt and sat there for 2 hours whilst they put out a burning car..the car caused the motorway to be closed in both directions:rolleyes:

I am not going out now..I have enough food to last the weekend, I have seen the weather forecast:eek:

    Good evening everyone

Hissing down with rain here but the forecast is much worse for the south and west. We looked on Ceefax and the weather page predicted gusts of gale forece winds up to 705 miles per hour!!!!!!!! A typo mistake methinks, seeing as gale force is only a mere hundred odd mph.......

Congratulations on hitting the big time Horace - from rock chick to rock manager, fabulous!

Hope everyone is well on this filthy autumn evening.
