Mmmm cheese -hope you get some cheese samples rog - you could add them to your 'cheese & tomato sandwiches without the cheese' to make proper sandwiches!

No such luck, Tixy

But it was an interesting contact, though. Nothing short-term, but are looking at projects which could include the machinery that I sell.

Still we have plenty of tomatoes. ;);)

Good morning everybody. :hello: :hello: :hello:

Today will be my third 'trundle-free' day in a row. :D:D

I should be happy, but can't help feeling that it is probably just the 'Calm before the Storm'.:confused:

I can remember 'Perry' - to be more exact 'Babycham' the 'Genuine champagne perry'

    It was disgusting.

Created a lot of jobs in Shepton Mallet though. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Rog - Babycham was and is disgusting..proper Perry on the other hand is a totally different drink.

Its a horrid day..I have enough milk for one coffee but I dont want to go and get some..I have to go out in a while anyway as I need to be at the Radisson in Birmingham for 6.30pm for a meeting (I will get the milk on the way back). I have a chicken carcass to cook but may leave it til tomorrow now as I can't be bothered today, I am out again tomorrow in Cirencester.

I must stop procrastinating..I have an advert to write that needs to be submitted before 16 November:eek: I have started to put some words down on paper but I need to think some more and get the wording exactly right.

Might have an omelette for dinner - I have a bit of cheese, some tomatoes and eggs.

I will, happily, bow to your knowledge on the merits of 'real perry', H.

    http://homepage.ntlworld.com/scrumpy/cider/homepage.htm

All I remember of that 'ilk' of drinks, including cider, is that, back in my student days, it was cheap and very alcoholic. The major disadvantage, I found, was trying to get away from the bar - the head would 'leave' but the legs would stay put.

Enjoy your omelette - we have eggs, tomatoes, but no cheese - looks like a trip to ASDA is looming.

    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

Haven't had the chance to do this for ages. :rotfl:
