No internet access I'm afraid - I have tried suggesting she visits mine to use my computer but she's reluctant (not computer literate). I'm going to print off some info from here and national debtline and then get her to go through things with CCCS.

I just found out she's been hiding her job loss from me for months and struggling terribly (going without food & elec sometimes)- I feel bad that I haven't helped her more or spotted how bad things were. Took her food shopping today to fill up her cupboards but thats only a temporary help and I need professionals on this one.

Made me realise there is always someone worse off.

Sorry to hear about your friend Tixy. As for perry..you don't know what you are missing. Perry is only made in the three counties (Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire)...the emblem for Worcester is 3 black pears (black pears are perry pears)...see you learn something every day.

Perry isnt as sweet as pear cider but it has a more delicate flavour and is stronger.:beer:

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle[EMAIL="abuse@moneysavingexpert.com?subject=Reporting post http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=26795257"][/EMAIL]. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
