If you like poems..here is one from my friend Jan Jack
My bottom is quite shapeless it's not round, nor big enough
I'm really far more partial to my truly wondrous muff
I'm really quite attached to her; she's like a little friend,
She sits between my tummy and where both my short legs end,
I keep her soft and shiny with the aid of Posh Shampoo
And then I add conditioner...and comb it all well through...
When time for monthly maintenance I search the kitchen drawer
And spreading my legs far apart I sit up on the floor
The kitchen scissors snip away - she gets a through trim
Until the china butter dish is full up to the brim
I think I will leave now:rotfl:0 -

Howdy All
Mmmm cheese -hope you get some cheese samples rog - you could add them to your 'cheese & tomato sandwiches without the cheese' to make proper sandwiches!
Just a quick mug pasta for my lunch today, but cheese would have been a nice addition.

Hello again from a wet dark and dank North West :hello:

This is a back from the pub where I had an unexpected lunch with one of my dearest friends. Stupidly, we never noticed the two courses meal deal:mad: - we could have had 2 courses for £9 and spent £25 in the end:mad::mad:. Still we each had a plate of cold honeyroast ham, fried egg, chips, grilled tomato and watercress followed by cherry crumble and custard (me) and bramley toffee apple pie with custard (friend) and a pot of tea. I don't need to eat the for the rest of the day now:D
Now where can I get £27K from as I would like to buy a new Discovery..I adore her new car with its seats that you can raise up or lower (going down to lingerie and haberdashery):rotfl: My mate is quite a small woman but handles the huge Disovery with ease...now I want one.
Cheese..yum, I am rather partial to a bit of mature cheddar.0 -
Hi everybody.
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes
P
If an apple a day
Keeps the doctor away
Would an orchard or two
Yield us a clue
To avoiding senile decay? If many little people, in many little places, do many little things,
they can change the face of the world.

MF..an apple a day isnt healthy as the pips are poisonous as they contain cyanide so an apple a day won't keep the undertaker at bay:eek:0

Evening all,
Horace - lunch sound good but fancy confessing on MSE that you didn't spot the two course meal deal, tch, tch:D
Re the £27K - you'll have to get your band a record deal and become their manager :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: either that or rob a bank!!!
MF - we could always try cider, still getting an apple a day but so p****d that we'd never notice the senile decay
Hope everyone is well today. The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time
