Same here - very few fireworks ... morning everyone! If many little people, in many little places, do many little things,
they can change the face of the world.

Good morning everyone, winter draws on definitely! About 2 degrees celsius when I got up at 0650. Lots of fireworks about last night, but chickens and cat safely indoors (chickens in their indoors not ours) so all ok. Trouble is, some idiots will be setting off fireworks tonight and tomorrow night as well - it should be restricted to November 5th only and no other dates. One life - your life - live it!0

Numpty - I bet all those bonfires round your way were nothing to do with Guy Fawkes, just people trying to get rid of the mountain of rubbish piled up due to the bin men not working......One life - your life - live it!0

I saw the piles of rubbish on look north again this week- I agree that people should be able to strike and I see that to be effective they have to let the rubbish build up but I think people would have more sympathy if they used intermittent strikes like others have been doing recently. I was glad to see the S Yorks firemen were not striking over this period.
Enough fireworks round here to scare the dog senseless and to get her trying to get into hiding places smaller than herself  unfortunately tonight is the town's big organised do so there will be even more tonight - fireworks should be seen and not heard I think.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hello to all you lovely "bumpers",
Newbie here - been lurking for a while but not really posting. Love this thread and read it regularly - your banter makes me chuckle..
Saw you back on page two so hope you don't mind if I join in and bring you back onto page one.
Good luck with the fireworks today and tomorrow - seen but not heard should definitely be the rule for the damn things!

Good afternoon everybody :hello: :hello: :hello:
It's a cold 'bump' from Wiltshire as I prepare to 'do battle' on the roads in my little (ish) green ASDA van.
If last year is anything to go by, I will be dodging crowds of people going to the 'organised' firework displays, both this evening and tomorrow. Last night was a bit quiet, although there were a few displays, so I think everyone is waiting for the weekend.
It slows me down, but at least I get a free look at the fireworks. :rotfl:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
