Tixy - I starting having dizzy problems after someone accidently walloped me on the side of the head with a lever arch file - they happened to be swinging it around and I came into the office at the wrong time:eek: As my dad has hearing problems - he arranged for me to see a specialist privately - I had to go to the ear nose and throat hospital in birmingham where I had water poured in my hears and I was forced to be dizzy (not pleasant) but I also had hearing tests and it was these tests that discovered my super normal hearing ability..it affects my left ear more than my right. I have learnt to tune out exessive noise.

BTW I have some news I am now the marketing assistant for 4Networking Longbridge group:j Its a voluntary post but will raise the profile of brand me (you can see we had a talk this morning about branding from a dog whisperer).

I had an offer this morning from Guy Ropes Forks asking me to touch him up "Denise, would you touch me up?" I nearly choked on my cup of tea and suggested that he should go to the gents and look in the mirror to touch himself up.:eek: It was too early in the morning to be touching anybody up.

A good late afternoon bump from me. Now back in the world of the employed, had flu jab and swine flu jab yesterday so have a bl**dy sore arm at present but hope it keeps the lurgies at bay.

Horace - supernormal hearing - you are either Bionic Woman or maybe your middle name is Fido.......good luck on the business front, sounds like things are moving for you.

I will also be feeling trolls - warmly by the neck........have a good evening.

Nargle - I don't have bionic hearing as I don't have an implant but I just hear things in ranges that the average joe doesnt hear...as a result I am extremely good as eavesdropping when folks are whispering:rotfl:

Hi everybody.


Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
