Actually got a bit worried, thought I've messed this thread up. Checked back and it's a Hamish one - so no matter.0

Well the Board Guides will be pleased - they'd have nothing to do if you weren't here

Sorry mate, I am going to stop ribbing you now

Not just the forums. Imagine the carnage if I were to leave my PC and like actually open the front door and walk out of it.I get the feeling that with Martin hiding the board, yet not closing it, he has played a masterstroke, imagine all the carnage on the other forums if all the guys on here moved around the website. By keeping it open he has contained us all in one place.0 -

That must be the nod for fc123 and LIR to appear:D, oh I couldn't divulge Heyman, it's very high level confidential business, nothing you're likely to read in Heat magazine or anything like that.
Edit. I think this thread has gone way off topic, anyone know what it was about ?
Boo...I was looking for a bit of excitement there but fair enough
It was one of Hamish's bear baiting ones so you didn't miss much :rolleyes:0 -

But whatever...... I've done my bit, and you have been warned.
The rest is up to you.
I believe people should buy when they are 100% sure they are ready to do so... i.e. found a reasonably property at a price they can afford, saved a decent deposit, have a stable job to pay the monthly mortgage repayments, (barring any life changing circumstances) ready to commit and see this as a life long investment.0 -
She does like pressing the 'move' button a lot though;), seriously though she has been very kind to me.
I agree, but while I dn't always agree with her moves, I can agree to differ. MAny of them are , well, correct!
I'm glad she's been kind to you.
I knew I liked her for a reason. 0 -
Bump, for relevancy.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Hamish you are talking rubbish.
This time next year house prices will be within 5% of where they are this year.
In 2 years time house prices will be within 5% also.
And I suspect 3 years time as well.
There will be no boom - GDP growth will be slow and unemployment will remain stubbornly high.
There will be no crash - prices have already dropped a lot and IRs will remain very low.0
