Rubes that's awesome, didn't know you did that type of stuff. That room was a bit crowded, we didn't go in there for long, just long enough to rest me poor ekkin feet (the gorgeous really expensive shoes HURT LIKE HELL) then back to the dance floor! I love to wiggle me!!

Fuzz awesome work on the spendo - I dunno how I managed it but I miscalculated and I'm going to go over my overdraft again this month :eek: oh well. It should be for the last time as I don't have to pay huge amounts off my credit card any more so I can concentrate on my overdraft. Annoying all the same though.

Yesterday was a bad spending day and today I will need to buy lunch because....I have an interview Sorry to step on your toes Rubes I know you need it more than me but it's for a carppy secretary job you probably wouldn't want so I hope you don't mind I just really need to get a full time job sorted so when this contract ends (or before, by the looks of it) I've got something to go to and I'm not unemployed.

I dunno where Princess is I think she got a bit puffed about the Jordan thing but not enough to go away!! Maybe she's busy? I know she's poor poor poor at the minute. Hmm. I'll pem her.

Anyway best get on with some work, I'll try and pop back later (and let you know how the interview goes...)

Do you really think Princess was cross about us perhaps not quite thinking Jordan was that amazing? I do hope not! Princess if that's true then sorry love!!

I am a bit hungover today - friend's birthday last night. Good fun but I spent SOOOOO much money. Feel quite sick now about it. We only went to Pizza Express but when the bill came, one of the girls refused to let the birthday girl pay and we had to split the cost of her dinner between us. I guess that's only right really but I hadn't thought we were doing that so it was a bit of a pain. Gosh, I'm a rubbish friend aren't I? Oh well, it's done now. Just have to hope the redundancy money comes through ASAP!

I really hate it when that happens! That happened to me recently too. Went out with people from work for someones birthday and at the end someone said 'oh we can't possible let F pay!!' and I was thinking 'yes we sodding can 'cos you all earn more than me and i can't even afford what I was expecting to pay!!' :mad: :rolleyes:

I hate it when other people spend my money for me! Like when OH tips taxi guys and then expects me to pay half of tip- err helloo? I didn't want to tip him 'cos he didn't do anything except drive dangerously fast and scare my half to death so why should I pay extra for the privelege?!!

Oh Rubes don't beat yourself up about it - it was only Pizza Express, not like you were at Lucs Brassiery or anything expensive - I do think it was a bit cheeky of that girl to just say "oh, we'll all pay for the birthday girl".... er consultation first would have been nice!!

Just got to make sure you don't eat out any more this month hun

Ooooooh actually that reminds me - was going to suggest it might be nice to get us all together soon? I know we've been talking about it for ages but if no one is proactive about it it will never happen!! So what are your thoughts people? For the ones that live a long way away I am sure we can find a central spot and put people up.

I'm thinking it should be London or midlands due to the centralness of it. Plus I'll find something cheap for us to do so as to keep to the theme of MSE!!

Anyway just a thought, I really want to meet more of you

Shiney disco balls! A new thread!

I am back from holibobs, had a lush time, so relaxing and was very much needed! Now back to lots of washing and catching up with cupcakes etc. Baking 250 cupcakes over the next 2 days for 2 orders. Off to get truck load of flour and eggs!!!

I've still not heard about job/if i have one, last i heard it was today but spoke to my team at work and they haven't heard a peep! I hate the waiting!!

Re diet- put on 2lbs this week however i'm not too upset as i said i wasn't doing ww while on holibobs and i did eat whatever i wanted!!!! back on wagon today.

Hope everyone is ok.

Ruby- re pizza bill- i hate people who just spring that on you. What if you took just enough out for you and left your card. If something is going to be done like that maybe agree beforehand esp in these hard times!!

Just got in from work and am starving so lunch first and then I'llcatch up properly.

I was v annoyed about the restaurant if I'm honest. The other 3 girls are all PR account directors earning about £50k a year so £30 for them is nothing but it's a lot for me. Esp as I'm unemployed now! Oh well, birthday drinks for another friend this Saturday, cinema on Sunday (but friend is then cooking at hers afterwards - MSE) then it's just my mum's birthday present and the obligations for the month are over.

Can't think of a single thing to get my mum for her birthday. Must brainstorm!

Ebs - how was the interview?

Would def be up for a meet by the way although somewhat unironically it'll be down to money!!
