a) no we're not and b) even if that was true, what's that got to do with it, eh? Wally
Maybe we should try and find a time closer to Xmas so we've all got the chance to factor in the expense. It could be the Blondie thread Xmas party!!
Welcome back, Tilly! Glad you had a lovely time.

Hi guys! :j I'm back!
It's taken me 2 days to catch, you're all just massive chatterboxes
I can't even remember all the things you've chatted about, so sorry for if I forget anyone. Fuzzled, thanks for missing me! Love your new hair, it really suits you. What pics have you been looking at of me? If it's the ones from the wedding, then it's not really a good representation - my hair only looked nice that day cos my friend tried to curl it for me!
Laura, I totally empathise with how you felt at the party, I feel like that most of the time. BF trys to be nice, but sometimes what he says comes out the wrong way. I hate feeling like a giant compared with everyone around me, and it may not be true, b ut that's the way I feel. Started back on diet on Mon, was really good all day, then ate a twix, 3 cookies and some jelly babies. I don't know what's wrong with me?!:o
Rubes, so sorry to see that you got made redundant, but glad to see you're feeling positive and looking at it as a chance for a new start. I totally agreee with your annoyance about the meal. I really hate when people spend your money for you. Like when you're in a group and you want to go out and join in, but really you can't afford it, so you just drink water and choose the cheapest meal on the menu while everyone else has steaks and bottles of wine, then they decide when the bill comes that it's much easier and less hassle if you just split it between you - err no! How exactly is that fair?!
RM, well done with the cutting down on cigs - keep it up!
Rupe, will check out your diary when I get a minute. I started a diary yonks ago, wrote like one post then forgot all about it, I'm so lame!:o
Um...trying to remember what else I wanted to say...?
Oh yeah, Princess, well done on facing up to what you owe - it's really horrible to do - it still makes me feel a bit sick when I think about my total, but I know that overall I feel better now than when I was trying to pretend that it wasn't there. Good luck with your new plan - you'll be debt free in no time!
Ebbs, well done on paying off so much of your card - whoop! How did the interview go?much work to be done - new sig coming soon...0 -
Well I might get to see you in December as I will be visiting OH's folks sometime in Dec down in the shire of derby
ps dec prob not good for me generally other than derby as seem to be booked up before xmas already- i'm so busy and popular dontch'ya know!
Xmas is a blinkin nightmare if u ask me.............might become a Johovas Witness...don't think I spelt it right:o......I wouldn't be a good one would I??:rotfl::rotfl:1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

Oooh yeah, I forgot, I would love to meet you all. I'm defo up for it. Would prefer if it was in London as it's closer to me, but realise that's not the same for everyone! Actually, I was thinking wondering only a couple of days ago if anyone in London would want to meet if I came over sometime? I never have anything to do at weekends seeing as BF is always at work, and I have to go over to London quite often to visit my nan.
Tilly, I forgot to say, hope that it's good news when you do finally hear about your job. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I was told yesterday that my job is due to finish 25th Sep. Although, it's possible that it could get extended again, I think this time I'll take it seriously and start looking for something else. I'm really not enjoying it here much anyway, and I've been lucky so far that I've kept getting extended. Sooo, I'm searching as of now, but there doesn't seem to be much decent around . Oh well, something will come up I'm sure.much work to be done - new sig coming soon...0 -
Er clearly I forgot to actually press the "post" button on my last reply but thanks Fuzz for the link!!
Christmas meet would be awesome but probably not doable. I actually think Jan might be a better time - everyone's skint in Jan so even better as it will make us determined to do it on a tight tight budget!! And there'll be loads of free weekends as everyone will be staying in and not making plans due to said lack of monet. Agree?
