Um, er, no, not me! Had to buy a colleague a leaving present today - £21.50 and the rest of my colleagues haven't paid me their shares yet. In addition, just found out another member of my team is leaving - arrgh! A month ago there were 7 of us, now there's only 3 (one of whom going away for a month). So of course, I reacted to this news by spending £2.99 on a huuugge carton of pick n' mix to cheer myself up - whoops :o Also spent £3.19 on lunch today...so, £27.68
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

Me either - NSD disaster area alert:rolleyes:

Money is flowing out of my hands in a never ending stream! I am 0/3 so far this week.:o

But, my daughter has just brought me a 'tray of luxury' as she has called it - cup of tea and flapjack made by her own fair hands.;) Nom nom nom.
And the best nit is - its guilt free cos I have just been at the gymn :D
    Tra la laaaa.

I'm in a slightly odd mood (can you tell:rotfl:) - its been a strange kind of day...

    Morning All,
I thought I'd do a quick post before I start on all the things I have to do today! Got just over a week before we go on holibob and I want to get loads of things sorted out, so when we come back it's a fresh start (that back to school feeling).
Still struggling with this tiny budget of mine and as yet no new jobs or extra work about but as I had a phone call yesterday from a local agency who had picked my CV up on line, and were wanting to put me forward for a job that's progress. Unfortunately, the job was full time so no good but did get them to register me for part time.
Got loads of housework to do, ironing and yet more lists.
Will pop in later have a good day all.

ps; Rupe: I loved your daughter's "tray of luxury", how lovely.

  • Hi All,

26 days till my holiday woooooooo. Robsmum were are you going on your holidays? I bet yu are so excited.

NSD for me today (only because I have spent to much money and only got paid a week ago. opps).
    xxxxxx

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!
  • Morning all well what a miserable morning it is!! The sun has indeed gone in for the time being.

Not much to report yet today except I spent £15 last night getting cinema stuff and both tickets (K is going to pay me back, I trust her) We went to see Time Travellers Wife, the book was so amazing but the film cut out too much of the story! I was gutted. Still liked it though and Eric Banna is just so doable. Nom.

Then we came out the cinema in the middle of what I can only describe as atropical rain storm, got soaked to the skin so went home had a nice hot shower and got into bed - early night - which was nice :D

Tonight is my only night in!! I really should do some cooking. Any recipes for mushroom stroganoff?

    :D

  • You know RM - that does look flipping awesome. Time to get some mushrooms in my life I reckon! Cheers love.

Gosh you are so busy cleaning again today! You put the rest of us to shame. I clean when I notice something is dirty. And when I say notice, I mean, can draw your name in the dust, or can see a ring round the bath :o Bad eebie!!

But then that's what cleaning rotas are for - Holly the Housemate loves it :D I am forever catching her hoovering or with rubber gloves on (ooer!) and Gee is never there anyway these days, always out with T (Yes that's right, HH and I call them G and T...) so really our house never gets dirty! (Although I did notice a cobweb floating about on the cieling in the lounge last night )
