Right ladies here is the recipe for the next 2 weeks. Post when you have done the recipe, any comments, how did it turn out and mark it out of 10. I'll keep a list of recipes and scores etcRecipe 1: Tagliatelle alla carbonara with Prosciutto- From James Martin Saturday Kitchen Best Bites
Serves 4
1 tbspextra virgin olive oil
300g prosciutto slices cut into strips
100g unsalted butter
150ml white wine
6 egg yolks
50g parmasan grated finely plus a bit for on top
50g pecorino cheese grated finely
350g egg tagliatelle
1. Heat Olive oil and add 2 thirds of prosciutto and fry 1 min
2. Add half the butter and all the wine, simmer 3 mins
3.In another bowl mix egg yolks with both cheeses and add little salt and pepper
4. Cook tagliatelle until al dente and drain
5. Add the pasta to prosciutto mix and then stir in egg/cheese mixture. Heat of pasta should cook the egg but put on heat for a min if need to.

Thats about it, I have no friends where I live:( Mainly coz DH is a hermit and only socialises with his friends and the places I've worked while living here aren't jobs with people my age/sex so I'm not a complete weirdo:p
Fuzzled, more and more I think that you and me are the same person - you've just described my situation exactly. I def think we are twins (except you're the skinny one and I'm the porky one - but I am half an inch taller :T)
I can't believe don't post anything for one day and I come back to all these extra pages. Madness.
Rubes, so sorry to hear you're feeling down. Don't worry about your mum though, she'll understand. When I got made redundant, it was totally out of the blue and they sent me home straight away (pretty much escorted me off the premises like a criminal ). I tried to hold in the tears while I was inside, but as soon as I got out of the door I exploded into sobbing and spluttering - didn't know what to do, so I walked round the corner to my mums work, rang her up and announced that I was outside on the doorstep! In hindsight, probably not the best way I could have handled things.
Oh, and I like watching Jeremy Kyle too, and Trisha and Maury.much work to be done - new sig coming soon...0 -

Where abouts in Essex did you live?
I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!0 -
Hey dudes - have been attempting to catch up by reading the posts backwards (if you see what I mean) - but its all got a bit too confusing.
I had a DAY OFF today (trala laa) and broke a promise to myself and went to Primarni for some thin cardis - instead came out with two jumpers - tried them on at home - skin tight is not the word:rotfl:. I wrestled them on, wrestled them off - and then once the static crackling had stopped I remembered why I don't shop there any more. Will have to wait til next day off (sometime in 2010) to take them back.
Ought to go to gymn, ought to work on some things which are on my mind - but I think instead I will chillax with the rugrats and watch DEAL OR NO DEAL!!!! I have missed Noel so much:rotfl:Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side
