Morning All,
Yes please to the recipe club.

Today I start my 2nd job. Homehelp for Alzhiemer's lady, which could proove interesting!:rolleyes: Extra money Yippee!!! Got to do PL's cat for next few days and am getting paid for that as extra hours also (I think she's had a LBM regarding me) and BIL wants his cleaning done for next 2 weeks - so at least For the next week or so I have a bit extra.

Ruby: Your mum will understand completely. That's what Mum's are for. I know she'll be fine cause you say I'm like her! Chin up and big hugs. It's better to let it all out.
Missy: Welcome, hope you enjoy the thread. A great bunch of girlies who will make you laugh, cry, inspire you and kick you up the bum if you need it.

Hi All,

Just thought I would say i am still alive but due to boss on holiday and I am away from next week I am drowning in work. Worked from 08:30 - 18:30 yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!! (not that anyone noticed lol).

There is to much to catch up on but just wanted to say Rubes, I cant remember if I said but i work in do some recruitment (HR), will PM you my fav agencies. Keep your chin up honey, I was made redundant a few years ago and it was the worst expirence of my life. But I am now so glad it happened as I am in a career I love (and earning more money).

Welcome Missy - I am not blonde and do not have a cat, but I love biscuits and cooking. The girls on this thread are amazing, it is the strangest but fantastic thing to have a group of people you can tell any thing too.

Im 27 and I live in a small villiage in Essex (think I may be the token Essex girl).

Im getting so excited, only 5 more days till my holiday wooooooooooo.

P.S Tilly I would love to join the recipe club after my hols. You would be so proud of me, I made 60 cupcakes on Sunday and gave them to the elderly people near were my grandparents live (i would have eaten them other wise lol).

RM - good luck today! I am very impressed that you're going to be working with an Alzheimer's patient, that's so cool of you. I hope it's not too difficult and obviously hurrah for extra cash! Let us know how it goes.

Tasha - thanks for that honey. Yes, please do PM me a list if you get the chance. I'm starting to feel very panicky so all advice greatfully received!

It's so funny seeing everyone's real life locations written down, it makes me realise how far apart we all are. It's odd but I sort of picture us as all hovering in the same virtual world so the reality that we're scattered all over the UK is rubbish!

Anyway, my tasks for today are calling some more agencies to register and popping round to my old flat to let in a guy to fit a blind while my old flatmate is on holiday. It's all go! Sigh...

RM- that's fab about 2nd job, few extra pennies coming in. I'm glad PL is finally starting to buck her ideas up a bit too!!!

Tasha- yay cupcakes!!!!! That is fab, I think cupcakes are one of the best things you can make for peeps, people just love em!!!

It's flexible so if you don't want to make a recipe because you are too busy, don't like the ingredients (remember we are trying new things thou) then thats fine. We will go down the list picking recipes and will have 2 weeks to cook it.

So i'm 1st on the list so I'll be posting my recipe in a bit then we have 2 weeks to cook it.

Hope everyone has a lovely day, i'm off to bake cupcakes for a change:p

Do you need to buy a cupcake tray to make them? Or can you just get the deeper cases???

Fuzz- how do you know I'll be choosing a cupcake recipe!!!!! I'm actually going to choose a recipe for a main meal. But i did put an apple spice cupcake recipe on yesterday which is yum!!! xx
