Hello,
I have just been given a brand new KM336 for christmas. It arrived today! I'm very excited but I was slightly disappointed to see that I cannot use a food processor attachment on this model - I should have done more research! I wonder if you know whether there are other attachments on tis model that will do almost as a good a job - like the mini mills etc...
Thank you0 -

Hi Jucentus and welcome to Old Style  I've moved your post from a Collection Thread (which is for information and not posting) into a more appropriate thread.
Have you tried to contact Kenwood directly (sorry, can't help with your specific query)

My mum has recently been making noises about downsizing and getting rid of stuff. She's 70 and doesn't cook much anymore. She has a Chef from around 1970 when she got married, I think it's a 701, and it still works like new.
I have a much newer KM300 which is about five years old now and is also still working like new, I have absolutely no reason to want a better one. However if my mum does decide to get rid of hers, I can't decide whether I should keep hers and sell mine, or keep mine and help her sell hers.
I'm not bothered about attachments, as long as it has a K beater and a whisk I'm happy. What do you guys think?0 -
Hi I'm looking at buying a Kenwood chef but after reading all these posts I see that the A701 and A901 seem to be the best rather then a new one? Can someone helo by explianing the differences so I can decided which ine will be best for my needs??
Thank you very much

Can someone tell me the main differences between these models and which one is best? I was going to buy a new one but from looking at recent threads about kenwood chef everyone seems to rave about the older models.
Ive been looking on ebay, but can't seem to make up my mind which is best. Am I right in saying tha the A901 can fit the KM attachments?? Does this make it more worthwhile??
Thank you in advance for any help you can give

I can't tell you the differences other than the 701 are the older models and yes, AFAIK the 901s take the same attachments as the KM models.
Given a choice of older model I would go for a 9 series rather than a 7 series as it is easier to get attachments and if you then upgraded to a new KM you wouldn't have to start again with attachments.Piglet

Does anyone have a Kenwood Chef and a Chefette and which do they prefer just for making cakes?
Thanks!10K in 2010 = £55580 -
Hi all
I am so deliriously excited, my Kenwood Chef A701A that I bought from ebay has just been delivered, but I am a bit flummoxed. There are no instructions and I can't get any of the attachments to fit nor can I remove the bowl. It's a stainless steel bowl if that helps.
Also there was some dark green oil leakage coming from where the dough hooks etc attach, is this ok?
I know this board is inundated with Kenwood experts, I hope one comes along soon and points me in the right direction because I am almost hopping up and down with excitement and frustration as I can't wait to use it!
Thanks soooo much in advance!0 -
Hieeeeee! Have you checked their website? That's going to b e my first port of call. I checked yesterday for breadmaker instructions- which were there, so can't see any reason for the instructions for this not to be thereA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
