The potato peeler is wonderful for carrots, parsnips etc too. I love it and never peel manually anymore, even small quantities.
Also, I am overjoyed to have found somewhere that stocks accessories for the A700 series and thought I'd spread the good news: https://www.torreelectrics.co.uk/acatalog/kenwood_Mixer_attachments.html"Finish each day And be done with it.

Can you put the potato peeler in the dishwasher or if its by hand is it quite easy to clean?
I have read the old thread, but with lots of new owners I too would love to know what attachments are worth getting. I fancy getting the ice-cream maker next, can anyone recommend it please?
Thanks0 -
I rinse my potato peeler in hot water - comes out clean enough though not spotless...but no ones has been ill as a result!
I'm aiming to get the ice cream maker too.
As far as the other attachments go I would say (sorry) that they're all worth getting provided you are the type of person who would use them (in other words no point buying the bean slicer if you hate beans).
I have:
- the juicer - it is FAB! Does a much better job than any other juicer I've used and it's easier to clean.
- cream maker - this one I actually regret bc I can't figure out how to use it!!!
- low speed shredder - makes a wonderful job of shredding/slicing. Wouldn't be without it.
- blender - perfect.
- sausage maker - should use it more often but my butcher makes the nicest sausages on this planet.
- potato peeler - Fab as mentioned above
- bean slicer - not tried it yet
- the multi mill - wonderful
Am hoping to get:
= ice cream maker
- colander"Finish each day And be done with it.

Hoping someone can help me with this....
I bought a splashguard lid as I was fed up of redecorating my kitchen with flour/icing sugar.
I have a KC700 with Kenlyte bowls.
the lid will fit the bowl but when it comes to lowering the arm it doesn't fit!
I guess then the splashguards aren't compatible withe the 700 series....or am I doing something wrong?"Finish each day And be done with it.

wouldn't it be easier (and maybe cheaper) to just buy the cream! :rotfl:0

but where would the fun be??
Plus this way round you can have cream without needing to go out to the shops where you'll be sucked in to buying other stuff you don't really need...
Plus this way I can have organic cream much cheaper than if I buy it. :T
Snow, can you talk me through it please? I hate having things I can't figure out how to use!"Finish each day And be done with it.

And npsmama is right, you don't need to go to a shop to buy a cream only... And believe me, the process is amusing:T
npsmama, check you PM, please0 -

Yes - I suppose you are right if you have the ingredients already to hand. I would have to go out and buy the butter and milk specially which I suppose was the way my mind was working.:rolleyes:0
